Age of Empires II Definitive Edition Chronological Order of Campaigns

Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition celebrates the 20th anniversary of one of the most popular strategy games ever with stunning 4K Ultra HD graphics, a new and fully remastered soundtrack, and brand-new content, “The Last Khans” with 3 new campaigns and 4 new civilizations.

Chronological Order of Campaigns

For those who want to role as a time lord /Emperor of Mankind or just an alternative order to play the campaigns. I’ve included the dates of the historical battles too. Dates are not exact (this is not the most accurate historical game), but the order of succession of events is somewhat correct.

  1. Thanks for the great list! there’s also the art of war by sun tzu for 5th century BC, and not a bad one to play first, since it’s training. it would be strange to do the William Wallace learning campaign after completing 14 other campaigns and 9 battles

  2. Lords of the west update:
    The Hautevilles (1047-1140) between (1006 — Suryavarman I) and (1066 — Hastings (B))
    Edward Longshanks (1264-1307) between (1235 — Sundjata) and (1278 — Ivaylo)
The Grand Dukes of the West (1407-1431) between (1385 — Le Loi) and (1415 — Agincourt (B))
    use it 🙂
