Batman: Arkham Knight 100% Achievement Guide

Guide to obtaining all achievements in this game, along with hidden ones.

Batman: Arkham Knight 100% Achievement Guide

This game out of the Arkham series is the one with the most achievements, which can make it seem daunting at first to obtain them all. Most of these achievements however are ones obtained through a normal playthrough (story achievements), or finished from just playing the game normally as well.

Some are also collectibles, which is known in the Arkham series to be boring or even annoying to get (Riddler trophies sux). Throughout this guide the achievements will be sectioned into respective parts (hidden achievements will also be put into respective sections).

Batman: Arkham Knight 100% Guide (SPOILERS) (ENG)Trail of Fear
Lock up your first Supervillain in GCPD.
Easiest achievement since it is obtained when you complete any of these MW missions.

Riddler MW Missions

Tips n Tricks

The Riddler MW missions are either puzzles, races, or just beating up robots. Most of the time on the race riddles the 3rd lap is the hardest which requires decent timing of the barricades and good usage of the boosting. I rarely saw myself drifting well on these and still finishing the three laps in enough time to get the key. The puzzles and robot sections are also not that hard to finish.

Batman: Arkham Knight 100% Guide (SPOILERS) (ENG)The Road to Hell
Successfully complete the first Riddler trial
This is the first race assigned by Riddler and is not that hard to complete and is also the introduction of the barricades. Just be sure to time them correctly and don’t crash or fall off the track.

Batman: Arkham Knight 100% Guide (SPOILERS) (ENG)Pieces of the Puzzle
Obtain a key by completing the second Riddler trial
This is the first puzzle assigned by Riddler, along with being one that requires you to use the Batmobile. The goal is to get the Batmobile to power up the socket and show the board up. Stand on the button that is near the entrance that controls the ledge and then go throughout the puzzle with the Remote Control Batmobile.

Batman: Arkham Knight 100% Guide (SPOILERS) (ENG)The Cat and the Bat
Obtain a key by completing the third Riddler trial
This is another puzzle that is pretty simple to figure out. Riddler will make Catwoman and Batman sit on pressure plates and show number codes for each other’s side. Read the numbers on Catwoman’s side for Batman’s and vice versa for his numbers. Input them in the correct order and then defeat the robots to get the third key.

Batman: Arkham Knight 100% Guide (SPOILERS) (ENG)Riddler on the Rampage
Obtain a key by completing the fourth Riddler trial
This is the second race Riddler assigns. Again it is the same premise as the first race but is on a more difficult track, just make sure you are timing barricades, drifts, and boosts all well and you should be fine.

Batman: Arkham Knight 100% Guide (SPOILERS) (ENG)The Burning Question
Obtain a key by completing the fifth Riddler trial
This is another Batmobile puzzle that involves the eject glide. It starts with eject gliding into the wall pressure plate, and then doing more eject glides into more appearing plates. After all the plates are activated you can hit the question mark and go get the next key.

Batman: Arkham Knight 100% Guide (SPOILERS) (ENG)The Primal Riddle
Obtain a key by completing the sixth Riddler trial
This is another puzzle within the orphanage assigned by Riddler. The pipes need to be moved to transport the electric charge to the beginning to the end. They can be moved by having a certain amount of weight on the pressure plate. Catwoman in this case is light while Batman is heavy, while both of them combined on a pressure plate is ultra heavy. Using this position Catwoman and Batman on the plates where they rise the pipes into correct position and guide the electricity to the end. Defeat the robots after and then get the sixth key.

Batman: Arkham Knight 100% Guide (SPOILERS) (ENG)Death by Design
Obtain a key by completing the seventh Riddler trial
This is another Batmobile puzzle. You need to rotate the walls by using the power winch to stay on them and move it via left and right. The water can be drained by gliding to respective parts on each level. Once all the walls are lined up you can go to the final level and hit the button. Right after the puzzle is done you can get your key.

Batman: Arkham Knight 100% Guide (SPOILERS) (ENG)The Riddle Factory
Obtain a key by completing the eighth Riddler trial
This puzzle is similar to the Catwoman and Batman number puzzle where only one side is given information to the other’s solution. Look at one side’s lights and then follow that path on the opposite end, like a maze. The maze will start to rotate once you progress far enough, which you can then pause the game and see it or just be patient and make it through. After this you can get the key.

Batman: Arkham Knight 100% Guide (SPOILERS) (ENG)Lethal Pursuits
Obtain a key by completing the ninth Riddler trial
Another race track. Same premise as the other ones except this one is harder than the last two in terms of barricades and boost usage.

Batman: Arkham Knight 100% Guide (SPOILERS) (ENG)Nine Lives
Obtain a key by completing the last Riddler trial
Necessary to get the REC gun before doing this (located in the GCPD evidence room)
You need to move the cubes by shooting the generators to repel or attract them. The gaps need to be where the laser is aimed. Catwoman can also stop the cubes from moving so position her well along with using Batman’s REC gun. After each successful attempt Riddler will try to kill Catwoman with the saw trap. Catwoman can go to the edge of the puzzle and jump on the ceiling and avoid it entirely or crouch and dodge it. After the puzzle is done three times you can get the key.

Batman: Arkham Knight 100% Guide (SPOILERS) (ENG)Riddle me That
Lock up the Riddler in GCPD

The most annoying achievement in this game. You need to collect all of the Riddler Trophies, Breakables, Bomb Victims, and Riddles. There are many photos and videos online showcasing the location of these, along with the answers to the riddles. I recommended Batman Arkham Videos Riddler guide here
This guide also shows which riddles are on which part of the Riddler Grid in the pause menu, helping with locating specific ones.

Penguin MW Missions

Tips n Tricks

All of Penguin’s MW missions are follow a truck and then beat up people, which is fairly simple to do. One of the locations needs you to open the garage door and go underground to find it, but other than that they are easy to discover and get into and then defeat the goons.

Militia MW Missions

These missions involve the bombs, checkpoints, APCs, and watchtowers.

Tips n Tricks

The locations of the militia checkpoints, bombs, and watchtowers can be found online or video guides. Map guides are provided in here. If you cannot find certain places/locations/APCs, take out the Serpent drones on the island with your missing objective to allow the GCPD to get intel and update your objective marker.

Defuse all of the militia explosive ordinance in Gotham City.

Batman: Arkham Knight 100% Guide (SPOILERS) (ENG)

Map of Militia Bombs

The bombs come with just waves of drones. The difficulty of the certain bomb can be viewed on the map on the pause menu as well so you can decide if you want to do easy ones first or the hard ones.

Batman: Arkham Knight 100% Guide (SPOILERS) (ENG)Gates of Gotham
Destroy all of the militia watchtowers

Batman: Arkham Knight 100% Guide (SPOILERS) (ENG)

Map of Watchtowers

Watchtowers come in either unarmed Militia units or ones that require stealth. Defeating them is pretty easy, just make use of predator takedowns and using fear takedowns as well.

Batman: Arkham Knight 100% Guide (SPOILERS) (ENG)Streets of Gotham
Destroy all of the militia checkpoints

Batman: Arkham Knight 100% Guide (SPOILERS) (ENG)

Map of Checkpoints

Checkpoints are mostly unarmed Militia as well, but some have drone turrets or even the big tank drones. I recommended getting the Disruptor upgrade that allows you to disable the big tank ones to make those ones easier. If not, most of them have a path that allows the Batmobile to jump inside and shoot them down.

Batman: Arkham Knight 100% Guide (SPOILERS) (ENG)The Road Home
Destroy all of the militia APCs

The APCs can be found while just driving around on the separate islands, which are pretty easy to take out along with their support units.

Map of Corpse locations

In the final battle with Pyg you need to take out all the patients and finish them with your takedown (Alt+1) to make sure they don’t come back up. After that you need to stun Pyg by catching his cleavers and then using an Environmental Takedown (Space+LMB) on him when he is behind the opposite side of the operating table.

Batman: Arkham Knight 100% Guide (SPOILERS) (ENG)Death of Innocents
Rescue station 17 fire crew.

Batman: Arkham Knight 100% Guide (SPOILERS) (ENG)

Map of Firefighter locations

All these battles are pretty easy due to most of them being unarmed. To make them easier you can use the Disruptor on the fights that have guns nearby along with using smoke grenades to get a Fear Takedown off.

Notice

These next achievements are done when completing simple MW missions/objectives, so I will only put a few tips that helped me on my 100%.

Batman: Arkham Knight 100% Guide (SPOILERS) (ENG)Angel in the Dark
Complete the trials and prove you are a worthy successor.
Completing these trials is pretty easy since Azrael has mostly everything Batman has in combat. If you ever feel you’re getting overwhelmed just use Evade (Space+Space) and dodge over units. It keeps your combo and allows you some breathing room.

Batman: Arkham Knight 100% Guide (SPOILERS) (ENG)Days of Fire
Extinguish the fires in Gotham City.
Locating Firefly’s fire stations are pretty easy since the smoke can be seen from opposite islands, but if you are still having issues locating them just get rid of the Serpent drones and let the GCPD find them and update your intel.

Batman: Arkham Knight 100% Guide (SPOILERS) (ENG)Scar of the Bat
Cure the doctor
Curing Kirk Langstrom is also pretty easy, just fly around on separate islands to locate his echolocation via the Comm system, which will also show how far away you are from him. For me on my playthrough his last location was on Founders’ Island, but it could be different. For the DNA puzzle, just make sure the ones going through the dot are the white DNA strands and not the yellow/green.

Batman: Arkham Knight 100% Guide (SPOILERS) (ENG)The Cult
Save the sacrifical victim and lock up the executioner in GCPD.

You need the REC gun to complete this mission, you can get it in the GCPD evidence room. Complete the fight as any other and then shoot the generators to get into the grate and apprehend Blackfire.

Near the center of the map on the oil rig(there are Joker goons by it the first time around), there is a locked room with this map next to it. You need to solve all 4 of the minigames to unlock the room and obtain an audio tape to get the achievement.

For the Test-Your-Might hammer minigame you need to dive from the highest part of the map onto the button.

For the car minigame you need to move the cars with your Remote Hacking Device to let the main car go through.

For the matching minigame you need to, well, match. You can batarang random ones on your first guess and then redo the minigame and get them correct since the solution does not change.
For the fish minigame you need to keep hitting the green ones and soon after it’ll finish.

AR Challenge Achievements pt. 2

Specific Challenge Achievements

Batman: Arkham Knight 100% Guide (SPOILERS) (ENG)What the Butler Saw
Complete the Wayne Manor AR Challenge as Batman without using any gadgets or taking any damage.

For this you need to stealth in the Wayne Manor challenge without not being able to use gadgets, hence the description. But this even means you can’t grapple to any perch, which is what kept making me personally fail this achievement. The strategy I developed was staying in the ground vents until it came down to the last few and minigunner and then stealth takedown the regular goons and then the minigunner. This one requires a lot of waiting for them to path somewhere else and be alone so you can stealth takedown and run into a vent or run away into cover. Just make sure you don’t grapple and mess it up since it counts as using the Batclaw.

Batman: Arkham Knight 100% Guide (SPOILERS) (ENG)Secrets of the Batcave
Complete the Batcave AR Challenge unharmed as Batman and Nightwing, using only Beat Downs

This one is another stealth AR challenge that requires you to use Beat Down (punching after stun with MMB) on every enemy. There are also the anti-detective vision suit militia here. A good tip to know is you can use gadgets, such as the Voice Synthesizer, Disruptor, and Smoke Grenade.
For Batman, use these gadgets along with the Smoke Grenade to do beat downs on enemies and grapple away without getting shot or preferably not seen.

If you want to get two enemies at once in a group, use the smoke grenade and you can get two and grapple away in time to not be seen. If you want to get one alone, use the Voice Synthesizer to get them away from other enemies.

For Nightwing, it gets a little harder. You don’t have the comfort of the smoke grenade to take out enemies. To combat this difference you need to use the Voice Synthesizer more along with waiting longer for enemies to be alone. I found a good spot in the corner of the map that allows you to go into a wall vent and call the enemies over to do Beat Down and then hide in the vent to wait for others. After doing this with both Nightwing and Batman unharmed with Beat Downs you get the achievement.

Batman: Arkham Knight 100% Guide (SPOILERS) (ENG)Silent Night, Deadly Night
Complete the Silent Knight AR Challenge unharmed as Batman and Robin, using only Knockout Smashes

This one is more precise but less waiting when compared to the Batcave AR challenge. You need to Knockout Smash all six enemies, which is hard considering three of them are medics. To combat this, you can knock out the three medics first. Start with the one that is under a roof on the right from the spawn point. You can grapple to that perch and wait for him to come out and then knock out smash him.

The other medic should then be in range to run over from the bridge down to the first one, where you can knockout smash him. The third one will be in the basement/underground section. You need to time this one right. Wait for him to get up from the ladder and then glide down behind him and knockout smash. You can then grapple up to a perch and wait for the other three.
Try and refrain from using Disruptor on Batman, since knocking the medics out with the disruptor obviously won’t count as a Knockout Smash.

Batman: Arkham Knight 100% Guide (SPOILERS) (ENG)Eternal
Complete the Endless Knight AR Challenge, taking out 50 Enemies as Batman

Another stealth AR challenge, this one increasing in difficulty the more you continue on. Since you are Batman though, it is pretty easy (along with no requirement to not be hit like the previous ones). Use a combination of perch takedowns, vent takedowns, remote hacking device kills with voice synthesizer, along with smoke grenade + fear takedown combos to get your way up to 50. If you are having difficulty with the minigunners somehow, use voice synthesizer to make them go to a generator and kill them with the Remote Hacking Device. You can also use any gadget to your disposal you couldn’t previously in Wayne Manor (Disruptor, Batclaw, etc.).

The strategy I do is this in order:

Knockout Smash -> Fear Takedown group of enemies (usually 2-5) -> Flee onto perch -> Stealth Takedown

In between steps I also use the Disruptor on medics/detective scanners/detective mode jammers to make it easier

AR Challenge Achievements pt. 3

Notice

Below are the hard combat challenges. Here I will list some tips I have for each character along with basic tricks to helping yourself in combat.

Tricks

To do Blade Takedown (after you bought it in upgrades), you need to hold the direction but press the dodge button before each attack. So hold the direction and then tap-hold the dodge button before the attack.

Don’t try and do Blade Takedown on Ninjas, they’ll mostly win every time. Just do normal Blade Dodge (hold direction and RMB) to dodge and then you can use Alt+1 or start hitting them.
Do however Blade Takedowns on regular knife enemies if safe and possible to get rid of them quickly.

Batman
Use Destroy Weapon (Alt+2) on Shields and Tasers.
Use Special Takedown (Alt+1) on Brutes and Ninja

Nightwing
Use your Alt+2 to throw your escrima sticks, disarming some enemies and stunning them.
Use your Special Takedowns on Brutes and Ninjas as well

Robin
Use your Alt+2 if you are overwhelmed with enemies

Catwoman
Use your Alt+3 if you are overwhelmed with enemies to trip them, but use your Alt+2 if you just want to stun them (preferably use Alt+3)
Use your Special Takedown (Alt+1) on Shields

Batgirl
Treat her as if she is Batman with no gadgets, so make use of Special Takedown on strong enemies

Harley Quinn
Use Special Takedown (Alt+1) on Shields, she kills them very fast.
Use your Mayhem Mode when surrounded by Shields and Tasers.

Batman: Arkham Knight 100% Guide (SPOILERS) (ENG)The Chill in the Air
Complete the Crime Alley AR Challenge unharmed as Batman, Robin, and Nightwing

The first of the hard, horrible, and time-consuming combat AR challenge achievements. Crime Alley is a small-medium map with not a lot of movement so you’re gonna be close to the enemies most of the time. There is no star requirement count on this achievement, so you don’t need to focus on score, just not getting hit. Again as said previously in the guide, use Evade (Space+Space) to get some breathing room if you find trouble with the overwhelming enemies. I would also recommend doing Blade Takedowns on the regular enemies and not the Militia Ninjas, as their blade attacks vary in speed and are not constant compared to the regular knife ones. Also prioritize enemies in this order:

Gun -> Brute -> Shield -> Taser Stick

Gun enemies can be taken down quickly with Quickfire Batarang (1+1), or killing them with the Special Takedown (Alt+1)

Brute enemies get tougher in the later rounds. A good strategy I developed is doing Stun (MMB) and then hitting them 10 times (check for x10 on the combo counter), and then using my Special Takedown, killing them.

Shield enemies suck. You can dodge over them and forget them but they’ll soon annoy you. Combo other regular enemies to get your Special Takedown and use it on them, or if you’re Batman use your Destroy Weapon (Alt+2) attack.

Taser Sticks are also annoying. Do the same strategy as you would with Shields.

Batman: Arkham Knight 100% Guide (SPOILERS) (ENG)The Curtain Falls
Flawless FreeFlow in every round of the Monarch Theatre as Batman, Robin, Nightwing, and Catwoman

The second hardest combat AR challenge achievement. The same strategies apply as they do in Crime Alley, but this time you need to play as Catwoman. Catwoman straight up sucks against waves of enemies with weapons. She has no destroy weapon or disarm like the other characters, and can’t even do Ground Pickup into Critical Beat Down combos. To do this with Catwoman, focus the hell out of shields and tasers with your Alt+1 after comboing regular enemies and then get rid of the rest. You are going to be using Evade a lot with Catwoman.

As for the other characters, it is similar to Crime Alley and doesn’t require much change in strategy or takedown order.

Batman: Arkham Knight 100% Guide (SPOILERS) (ENG)Requiem for a Killer
Defeat an old adversary in the Iceberg Lounge AR Challenge, playing as Batman

The king of hard combat AR challenges, also known notoriously as being the most rage-inducing achievement. This one isn’t like any of the others, as it requires you to keep a very long combo. If you don’t know the tricks to keeping a long combo along with building one, you will be overwhelmed with Brutes on this stage and most likely fail your run on getting the achievement. To get this achievement you need to beat Killer Croc once you get to 1,050,000 points. You need to build a very long combo to get this score in the amount of time required to spawn in the final boss. On my run I got the required score around when my combo hit about x415, which is a lot. Here below are very important tips to get this achievement.

Abuse evades in the later enemy waves (shields and tasers). You need this breathing room to analyze the stage and see who to takedown to avoid accidentally hitting a shield, an electrified enemy, or worse just straight up missing your hit and dropping the combo.

Hit Critical Blows constantly. This is done by timing your hit instead of spamming the hit button (I usually just tap once on an enemy and then I get a Critical Blow off), you’ll know if you got it if you see the blue streak behind Batman’s fist. The reason you want Critical Blows constantly is once your Combo Meter is filled up all the way (glowing yellow/orange), and you hit Critical Blows, they count as three hits. This not only kills enemies faster, but also builds the combo meter faster to get to that dreaded one million score.

Prioritize combo over enemy takedowns. What I mean by this is it is better to dodge over an enemy then try and hit them and think it’ll hit when you know it won’t. Don’t attempt stuff that can help you if it seems unsafe because most likely you’ll drop the combo and have to reset.

Speed over Counters. Once you hit x50 in your combo counter you will reailze Batman is moving really fast. This is a good thing however as it’ll give you less time to reach the point threshold to spawn in the final boss, letting you get there quicker. A great tactic with this speed increase is most of the time you can take out enemies before having to counter their hits. This isn’t the case every time though, which is why you need to watch the blue counter indicator and see if it is pulsing/glowing, if it is it is better to counter then hit as you will most likely get hit and lose the combo. However this speed difference can be overwhelming to some, which is understandable, but you do not want to drop it since you are building your combo. To combat this, you want to use Evade (Space+Space) to give yourself not only breathing room but time to focus on your next hit.

Batman: Arkham Knight 100% Guide (SPOILERS) (ENG)Blunt Trauma
Perform every type of predator takedown

Batman: Arkham Knight 100% Guide (SPOILERS) (ENG)Brutality 101
Perform 15 different combat moves in one FreeFlow.

I booted up an infinite wave AR challenge to get this achievement, which made it way easier. You need to hit 15 different moves including regular ones and gadgets. Here are the ones I did:

  • Punch
  • Counter
  • Throw Counter (movement key towards enemy + RMB)
  • Stun (MMB)
  • Super Stun (MMBx3)
  • Batrang (1+1)
  • Batclaw Slam (2+2+LMB)
  • Batclaw Stun Juggle (2+2+MMB+LMB)
  • Explosive Gel (3+3)
  • Electric Charge (4+4)

  • Ground Pickup into Beatdown (Ctrl+MMB, LMB)
  • Evade (Space+Space)

  • REC Takedown (4+4[hold])

I also paused after hitting certain moves and updated a list I had on a separate monitor to keep count on each run.

Batman: Arkham Knight 100% Guide (SPOILERS) (ENG)Death and Glory
Perform 20 Fear takedowns.

Another passive one, just do lots of fear takedowns as it doesn’t matter if they are specific.

Batman: Arkham Knight 100% Guide (SPOILERS) (ENG)Savage Metal
Smash 10 militia transport vehicles off the road without using the immobilizer

Another passive one when doing the militia APC missions. Just ram the support units off the road instead of shooting them. If not obtained, go to the APC AR challenge and do it there.

Batman: Arkham Knight 100% Guide (SPOILERS) (ENG)Gotham after Midnight
Glide for 400 meters while less than 20 meters from the ground

Find a good place you can dive and also get close to a road and then dive off to build speed and pull up before you touch the road. Proceed to glide down the road and you’ll get the achievement.

Batman: Arkham Knight 100% Guide (SPOILERS) (ENG)Dirty Tricks
Achieve 3 minutes of drifting time in the Batmobile

Get in the Batmobile and hit a donut for 3 minutes. This can be done by holding Powerslide/Drift (Shift) and the A-D key with W.

Batman: Arkham Knight 100% Guide (SPOILERS) (ENG)Seduction of the Gun
Achieve 50 critical shots on light tanks

Another passive one if you semi-go out of your way for it. Just shoot the basic drones in the bright blue light to count as a critical shot with your Vulcan Gun, not the big explosive gun.

Batman: Arkham Knight 100% Guide (SPOILERS) (ENG)The Real Deal
Takedown 20 moving cars without using the Batmobile

Fly around the islands and find thugs driving and get close to their car by gliding and the button prompt will appear to takedown the cars.

Batman: Arkham Knight 100% Guide (SPOILERS) (ENG)Point of Impact
Perform 5 perfect shots in a row with the Vulcan Gun without taking damage

This one took some patience for my playthrough, but my strategy was booting up the easiest Batmobile combat challenge and then waiting for the drones to sit still and shooting them in the blue light spot. Perfect Shots differ from Critical Shots, as critical means you missed before and perfect does not, hence you need to hit the blue light first try on the drone.

Batman: Arkham Knight 100% Guide (SPOILERS) (ENG)Run Through the Jungle
Fly under 3 main bridges between the islands in one continous glide

This one can be quite difficult if you are not familar with the dive and glide mechanics. Start from high up, preferably on Wayne Tower, and then glide under the bridge between any of the islands. It has to be under and can’t be through, I learned that the hard way. You then want to go to the next bridge, whatever that may be, and go through it first then dive and go under it and pull up to get enough air to dive and glide for the last bridge. To my knowledge you cannot use grapnel boost for this achievement.

Batman: Arkham Knight 100% Guide (SPOILERS) (ENG)Choice of Weapons
Use all five Batmobile weapons successfully in one tank battle.

This is another passive one that can be obtained normally. Just use your Vulcan Gun, 60mm gun, Missles, Drone Hack, and EMP in one battle.
