Borderlands 3: Hitman Skill Tree

Borderlands 3 skill tree will once again be making an appearance, as well as several past skills so that you can put points into diversifying your character.

Each of the Vault Hunter Classes will be able to put points into three different Skill Trees, and swap between three different Action Skills after reaching level 3.

While Amara can unlock many different Action Skills and only equip one at a time, The Vault Hunter Zane the Operative is unique in that he is the only character that can equip two Action Skills at a time instead of Grenades, and can augment them multiple times.

Hitman Skill Tree

Action Skill
SNTNL – Send into battle an automated SNTNL drone that continually flies through the environment and attacks enemies with its Machine Guns. Pressing Left or Right Bumper (L1/R1) while SNTNL is active causes it to attack the enemy in your crosshairs, if any. Machine Gun Damage – 10, Duration – 24 sec, Cooldown – 36 sec.

Cold Bore 5 Gain increased Weapon Swap Speed. Shot fired after swapping weapons deals Bonus Cryo Damage. Rank 1 – Weapon Swap Speed +15%, Bonus Cryo Damage 6%
Violent Momentum 5 Gun Damage is increased while moving. Gun Damage bonus increases the greater the move speed. Rank 1 – Gun Damage +6% at regular walk speed
Winter’s Drone (Action Skill Augment) Converts SNTNL’s primary weapons to Cryo Damage.
Cool Hand 5 Kill Skill. Gain increased Reload Speed, and gain bonus Reload Speed after killing an enemy. Rank 1 – Reload Speed +2% (+3% after kill), Duration 8 sec
Drone Delivery 1 SNTRY will occasionally drop a free Grenade based on your current mod while attacking enemies. Rank 1 – Cooldown 15 sec
Salvation 5 Kill Skill. Weapons gain Life Steal after killing an enemy. Rank 1 – Life Steal 4% of damage, Duration 8 sec
Bad Dose (Action Skill Augment) SNTNL occasionally shoots out a beam of Radiation that weakens enemies and buffs Zane. Each weakened enemy increases Zane’s Movement speed and Fire Rate, while weakening the enemies. Fire Rate +3% per enemy, Movement Speed +6% per enemy, Damage 2, Duration 12 sec, Cooldown 8 sec
Seein’ Red 1 Activating an Action Skill automatically activates all of Zane’s Kill Skills
Static Field (Action Skill Augment) SNTNL emits a static field that sends a Shock Beam to nearby opponents, draining their shields and replenishing Zane’s. Shield Damage 2 per sec, Cooldown 2 sec
Boomsday (Action Skill Augment) SNTNL adds a Rocket Pod to its primary weapons, allowing it to shoot Rockets as well as Machine Guns. Rocket Damage 50
Violent Violence 5 Kill Skill. Gain increased Fire Rate after killing an enemy. Rank 1 – Fire Rate +4%, Cooldown 8 sec
Playing Dirty 5 Kill Skill. Next five shots have a chance to fire an additional projectile after killing an enemy. Rank 1 – Extra Shot Chance 10%
Almighty Ordnance (Action Skill Augment) Hold LB or RB (L1/R1) while STNL is deployed to paint a target area. SNTNL fires a missile barrage at that area, and if an enemy is killed, the duration is reset. Can only be used once per Action Skill use. Missile Damage 25, 5 Missiles per Barrage
Good Misfortune 3 Kill Skill. Zane’s Action Skill Duration increases after killing an enemy, with diminishing returns. Rank 1 – Duration Return up to 5% max duration
Death Follows Close 1 All Kill Skills gain increased Effect and Duration. Rank 1 – Kill Skill Bonus +40%, Kill Skill Duration +4 sec
