In Code Vein, both humans and revenants roam the world. Most of the NPCs in the game only appear in various locations whenever you’ve activated all the Mistles of a location and have completed its main quest or defeated the boss. Make it a habit that whenever you do complete a location to revisit that explored area for these quest givers to appear and to encounter someone new. It is also recommended that you try to complete all the locations before reaching the final location Gaol of the Stagnant Blood so that all the NPCs will appear in the various locations and it’ll be easier for you to find them whenever you take their requests.

Lyle Quest Guide
Lyle is an NPC and Quest Giver in Code Vein. Heis an Argent Wolf Soldier located at the Crypt Spire Entrance of the Crypt Spire. He seems to be the only survivor found in the crypt. NPCs are individual characters that are encountered during the course of the game that may or may not provide benefits.
Trial of the Blood
Location: Crypt Spire Entrance – Crypt Spire
This quest can be triggered during your exploration at the said location or you can do it later on. You’ll find him at about midway of the first section of the location from the Crypt Spire Entrance of the Crypt Spire. He’s inside one of the large rooms and you’ll find him wounded and resting against the wall, simply talk to him and the Trial of the Blood will trigger. Simply survive the onslaught and kill the last enemy, then speak to him after the trial – he won’t give you any rewards, but you can obtain haze from the trial, as well as 2x Solid Loss Crystal (L) and 1x Awake MJ310.
