Detroit: Become Human Walkthrough Last Chance, Connor

Guide to all solutions of the chapter “Last Chance, Connor”, including what evidence is needed and how to pair it to find location of Jericho. Can also be used as a walkthrough for the “Bloodhound” achievement.

Detroit: Become Human Walkthrough Last Chance, Connor

The Zen Garden

If you lack sufficient evidence to learn the location of Jericho, the chapter will end immediately. This happens if:

  • Carlo’s android wasn’t found in “Partners”, didn’t die during “The Interrogation”, or if he survived during “The Interrogation” he was not talked to in the holding cell during “Waiting for Hank…”
  • Rupert escaped during “The Nest” (Rupert was not found, Connor died or Saved Hank)
  • The Tracis escaped during “The Eden Club” (Mission failed, or Connor spared them)
  • Neither the kitchen deviant nor Simon was killed during “Public Enemy” (Connor and Hank left, Connor died in the kitchen, or Connor died rushing Simon)

Like previous chapters in the zen garden, you can examine the “Magic Stone” and the gravestones from previous Connors, if there are any.

When you gain control of Connor, Amanda is standing on the frozen lake. When speaking to her, if Connor found Jericho’s location by killing Chloe and asking Kamski, she will congratulate Connor (increase relationship). If Connor either chose not to kill Chloe or did not ask for Jericho’s location, Amanda will be upset with Connor (decrease relationship).

If you have yet to learn the location of Jericho, Connor has the following options:

  • Emotional (decrease relationship, increase software instability)
  • Cold (increase relationship, decrease software instability)
  • Stay Silent

Connor can then pick 3 of the following options:

  • Amanda’s Picture (if seen during “Meet Kamski”)
  • Kamski
  • This Place
  • Cyberlife
  • Secret (decrease relationship, increase software instability)
  • Connor Series (decrease relationship, increase software instability)

No matter what combination you choose, Connor’s relationship with Amanda will decrease.

If Connor killed the Tracis during “The Eden Club” or killed Chloe during “Meet Kamski”, Amanda will ask Connor if he feels anything for the deviants. Connor has the following 3 options:

  • Yes (decrease relationship, increase software instability)
  • No (increase relationship)
  • Doubts (decrease relationship)

Police Station

Once Connor’s internal conversation with Amanda is over, Fowler will tell Hank and Connor they are off the case due to the FBI taking over. There are two paths here solely based on Hank’s relationship with Connor:

  • If Hank is Hostile to Connor, Hank will resign and leave. If this is what happens, skip ahead to the section titled, “Creating a Diversion”.
  • If Hank’s relationship to Connor is Tense or higher, Hank will go to his desk and Connor will need to follow.

If Hank returns to his desk, exit the office, head down the stairs, and speak to Hank at his desk. The conversation will be different depending on previous choices in the game and what the team knows about Jericho thus far.

Hank will ask if they are possibly on the wrong side of this:

  • Not People (decrease relationship, decrease software instability)
  • Defective (decrease relationship, decrease software instability)
  • Regrets
  • Determined
  • No Doubt (decrease relationship, decrease software instability)
  • Troubled (increase relationship, increase software instability)
  • Doubts (increase relationship, increase software instability)

If Hank and Connor have a Tense relationship, Hank will tell Connor he is nothing but a machine:

  • Remorse
  • Distant (decrease relationship, decrease software instability)
  • Cold (decrease relationship, decrease software instability)

If Connor has died more than once, Hank will also mention that:

  • Indifferent
  • Distant (decrease relationship, decrease software instability)
  • Empathy (decrease relationship, decrease software instability)

If Hank’s relationship with Connor is Neutral or better, Hank will question Connor on his empathy:

  • Not Deviant
  • Determined
  • Troubled (increase software instability)
  • Cold
  • Say Nothing

If Hank’s relationship with Connor is Warm or better, Connor can give some parting words to Hank:

  • Sincere (increase relationship, increase software instability)
  • Friends (increase relationship, increase software instability)
  • Respect (increase relationship, increase software instability)
  • Hank’s Secret (increase relationship, increase software instability)
  • Neutral

Creating a Diversion

At this point, FBI Perkins (the guy we met in “Public Enemy”) arrives and will be heading to the Evidence Room to take over the investigation. There are a couple of different options here depending on what Hank’s relationship with Connor is:

  • Hank will help Connor (Hank’s relationship is Friendly)
  • Hank won’t help Connor (Hank’s relationship is Tense, Neutral, or Warm)
  • Hank is gone (if Hank resigned the force due to Hostile relationship)

If Hank will help: Hank will offer to be the distraction. Hank will approach Perkins and create a very loud (and hilarious) fight with Perkins. Connor can grab the key off of Hank’s desk and head towards the archive.

If Hank won’t help or is gone: Connor will need to create the diversion himself. Connor will spot Perkins on the phone, which opens up the option to approach a prisoner in the holding cells. Head to the holding cells to release the prisoner, which will trigger a cutscene. Connor can then head to Hank’s desk to take the key and head to the archive.

When you get to the Evidence Room door, Gavin will stop Connor, and Connor has the following options:

  • Leave (will cause a fight with Gavin after learning the location of Jericho)
  • Answer, Ironic (will cause a fight with Gavin after learning the location of Jericho)
  • Answer, Low Profile (Gavin will be satisfied and leave Connor alone)
  • Answer, Calm (Gavin will be satisfied and leave Connor alone)

Evidence Room

After picking your desired outcome with Gavin, Connor will enter the Evidence Room using the key, and approach the console. Connor will need to take a guess at Hank’s password (F***INGPASSWORD).

This is an all-inclusive list of everything that could be in the evidence room based on Connor’s previous choices in the game:

  • Daniel’s Body (always there from “The Hostage”)
  • Body of Carlos’ Android (if he died during “The Interrogation” or during “Waiting for Hank…”)
  • Carlos’ Android’s Statue (if found in the bathroom during “Partners”)
  • Carlos’ Android’s Memory (if he survived during “The Interrogation” and was not talked to during “Waiting for Hank…”)
  • HK400 Clue (if Carlos’ Android survived “The Interrogation” and trusted Connor)
  • Rupert’s Body (if found and caught during “The Nest”)
  • Rupert’s Diary (if found behind the poster during “The Nest”)
  • Body of Blue-haired Traci (if killed during “The Eden Club”)
  • Body of Brown-haired Traci (if killed during “The Eden Club”)
  • Markus’ Broadcast (always there from “Stratford Tower”)
  • Kitchen Android’s Body (if killed during “Public Enemy”)
  • Simon’s Body (if killed during “Public Enemy”)
  • Jericho Tablet (if Simon is found by Connor and probed during “Public Enemy”)

In total, your options are:

If Connor successfully locates Jericho in the allotted time, one of two things will happen based on Connor’s previous choice with Gavin:

  • Connor leaves (Connor Eluded Perkins ending)
  • Gavin returns and is attacked

Connor will need to fight off Gavin. If Connor wins the fight, Connor leaves (Connor Incapacitated Gavin ending)/ If Connor loses the fight, Gavin will shoot Connor and kill him (Gavin Destroyed Connor ending).

All Possible Endings

  • Connor Left for Jericho: Connor asked for the location of Jericho after killing Chloe during Meet Kamski.
  • Connor Series Was Decommissioned 1: Connor lacks sufficient evidence to learn the location of Jericho, or Connor runs out of time before reaching the evidence room.
  • Connor Series Was Decommissioned 2: Connor must reach the Evidence Room, but run out of time before learning the location of Jericho.
  • Connor Eluded Perkins: Answer Gavin with the “Low Profile” or “Calm” response before entering the Evidence Room, and then locate Jericho.
  • Gavin Destroyed Connor: Ignore Gavin or choose the “Ironic” response then enter the Evidence Room. After learning the location of Jericho, fail the QTEs during the fight with Gavin.
  • Connor Incapacitated Gavin: Ignore Gavin or choose the “Ironic” response then enter the Evidence Room. After learning the location of Jericho, pass the QTEs during the fight with Gavin.
