- Head to the Colosseum and select the “Special Match”
- Defeat the Jury-Rigged Cutter and claim your reward.
Shears’ Counterattack Walkthrough
Speak with the Gatekeeper to get the side mission in Final Fantasy 7 Remake. However, you need to complete some requirements.
- When talking to Sam about Tifa, describe her as “She’s great at handling the books.”
- Don’t do the Jonny Discovery Event in the Wall Market. Once you catch him, pick the first dialogue, “Yeah.”
- Don’t speak with the guy in front of the hotel and don’t speak with the hotel receptionist
- Go to the main objective at Corneo’s mansion where you meet the Trio.
- Pick “Heads” when Sam does the coin flip.
- Choose the most expensive Massage “Luxury Course – 3000 Gil”
- When Aerith asks about her outfit, just say “Looks comfortable”
- Complete the main objective “The Underground Colosseum.”
- Complete “Burning Thighs”
- Complete “The Price of Thievery”
The side mission is pretty simple, go to the Colosseum and beat Jury-Rigged Cutter.

- HP and MP restored

To unlock this side quest you must do the following:
- Ignore Johnny’s discovery event: Vagabond Johnny and select No when you speak to him.
- Do not gamble when you are prompted by Sam, choose “No Deal”
- Pay 3000 Gil for the “Luxury Course” massage treatment at Madam M’s place.
