Supplementary Notes

To cover some oddities

  • Any rewards reached before the thing they belong to (Colors, Backpack Customization) will not retroactively unlock. If this happens, you’ll need to perform another delivery of any kind to that facility to receive the reward. I’d recommend before focusing on boosting connection to complete the Order for Sam from the Junk Dealer after connecting him to the network, as well as to get the Sam Sunglasses from the Film Director.
  • Upon reaching 5 star connectivity with a facility, you will be additionally awarded a star that gets permanently displayed on Sam’s leg, as well as a unique patch you can use for backpack customization. I did not list these because I didn’t feel like writing ‘Star, Backpack Patch’ 36 times.
  • This list may not be 100% accurate (I’m not particularly confident on the first few facilities). Nevertheless, this should cover most items you can unlock from connection level. However, this does not cover rewards from Orders for Sam, so if you think something is missing, do check it doesn’t come from one of those first.
  • The token of gratitude is the reward you receive for any standard deliveries you get an S rank on. This is repeatable and you can receive multiple for delivering multiple deliveries at once. However, reaching level 5 upon a delivery will prevent you from receiving any tokens of gratitude for that delivery.
  • Peter Englert’s level rewards are more of a formality, as you’ll gain all his levels at once upon delivering the Final Pizza, which becomes available in Episode 10. The rewards can also be considered a small spoiler, so do beware if you haven’t reached Episode 10 yet.
  • The Timefall Farm’s token of gratitude seems to be a random choice between Ceramics and Metal. I did not test if one is more likely than the other.
  • The Distribution Center North of Mountain Knot City awarded the Extra Battery Lv. 3 to me upon completing an Order for Sam Vog delivery from the Spiritualist to the Distro Center, which is why it’s missing from its rewards. If by some chance you got the level 3 battery instead for connection level 5 and are looking for how to get the level 4 battery, you could try performing this delivery.
