Overcooked 2 Achievement Guide

Overcooked 2 achievements and how to get them.

In this guide you will find short explanations for every Achievement for quick and easy completion.

Many achievements in this game are pretty self explanatory, however, I will give a small guide to some of the ones that might require a bit of a grind.

Campaign Achievement

This section will show the achievements that are related to the Campaign specifically.

And Suet Begins

This will unlock upon completing the tutorial level.

Kitchen Porter

This will unlock once you have reached the 3 star score required on every level in Stage 1.

Commis Chef

This will unlock once you have reached the 3 star score required on every level in Stage 2.

Chef de Partie

This will unlock once you have reached the 3 star score required on every level in Stage 3.

Sous Chef

This will unlock once you have reached the 3 star score required on every level in Stage 4.

Head Chef

This will unlock once you have reached the 3 star score required on every level in Stage 5.

Executive Chef

This will unlock once you have reached the 3 star score required on every level in Stage 6.

The Secret Ingredient (Hidden Achievement)

This will unlock after completing the final secret Kevin kitchen.

Switch It Up

As you make your way through the Campaign levels, you will come across switches on the map to access certain levels. Drive over them to activate them. Once you have discovered and activated them all, this will unlock.

The Unbread

This will unlock once you have completed the Campaign and defeated the Unbread! 3 stars on all levels is NOT required unless you are aiming for those achievements, however, you will need to earn enough stars to unlock the levels as you progress.

Non-Campaign Achievement

This section will show the achievements that are not related to the Campaign but can be completed in any game mode.

A Grand Dining Experience

Deliver 1000 meals

Over the course of the campaign, online, co-op play, you will unlock this. Just serve 1000 meals throughout your play time, and this will unlock.

The Spice Of Life

Deliver every type of meal in the game

Throughout playing, you will unlock new recipes. When you have learnt them all, and delivered them to the patrons, you will unlock this. This DOES include all varieties of each recipe (e.g. Cheese pizza = 1 recipe, Sausage pizza = 1 recipe etc)
(Currently awaiting final list of all recipes!)

Clockwork Kitchen

Complete a level by doing all the recipes in order

Simply complete the orders in the order that they appear in the top left of the screen. This can be done easily on Level 1-1.

Hot Pot Shot

Throw 100 ingredients into a cooking pot

Simply throw your ingredients into the cooking pot using the [CTRL] button on keyboard or the (X) button on an XBox controller. This one can be achieved over the course of playing, however it is a bit of a grind.

Solution for grinding – Go onto Level 1-3, using one controller. Throw 3 rice over the middle table. Change player using (RB). Grab a rice and press (X) to throw it in the pot. Do it for all 3 pots. After that, take the pot and trash the rice, change player and repeat. You will get about 20 throws over the 3:00 minutes. Repeat the stage a few more times doing this to unlock the achievement.

Too Many Cooks

Unlock all the chefs

Throughout the levels, you will unlock new chefs. There are 12 (? List TBC) in total. Once the last chef is unlocked, the achievement will unlock.

If You Can’t Stand The Heat…

Extinguish a burning kitchen

Simply extinguish a fire in your kitchen.
Start cooking something in a pan or pot, wait until it overheats and catches fire. Exitnguish the fire using the fire extinguisher.

Toss Lightly

Throw 500 items

Simply throw items 500 times using the [CTRL] button on keyboard or the (X) button on an XBox controller. This one can be achieved over the course of playing, however it is a bit of a grind.
Solution for grinding – Go to Level 1-1. Get a fish, go to upper right corner. Put a player in front of another and alternate (X) and (RB) to throw from one to other player. Repeat until the achievement unlocks. The timer doesn’t start until you put out an order, so take your time.

I Ain’t No Butterfingers

Catch 250 items

Simply catch 250 items that have been thrown at you. This one can be achieved over the course of playing, however it is a bit of a grind.
Solution for grinding – Go to Level 1-1. Get a fish, go to upper right corner. Put a player in front of another and alternate (X) and (RB) to throw from one to other player. Repeat until the achievement unlocks. The timer doesn’t start until you put out an order, so take your time.

Bangers and Trash

Put 99 items in the bin

Simply throw away 99 items.
Solution for grinding – Go to Level 1-4. In the top left corner is the rice box. Pick up the rice, turn to your left and put it in the bin. Repeat until the achievement unlocks.

Dishwasher

Wash 300 plates

Simply wash 300 plates. This will require you to send out 300 meals, and then wash the returning plates. This one can be achieved over the course of playing, however it is a bit of a grind.

It’s Bean Emotional

Use every emote

After finishing a level (score doesn’t matter!), just use as many emotes as possible before the screen changes. If you only use 3-4 the first time, do the level again, and use the remaining emotes. Just repeat until the achievement unlocks.

Jelly-porter

Use portals 75 times

Simply go through portals 75 times. Go through a portal and when you arrive on the other side, head back through where you came from. Repeat until achievement unlocks.
Solution for grinding – Level 3-2 is generally the best level to try this on.

Get To The Chopper

Chop 800 items

Simply chop up 800 items.
Solution for grinding – Level 1-1, grab a fish, chop up the fish and then throw the fish on the floor. Grab another fish, chop it up and throw away. Repeat until achievement unlocks. The timer doesn’t start until your first order is put out, so take your time.

Online Achievement

This section is related to the online portion of the Achievements.

Battered!

Win 10 games in versus mode

Win 10 games in versus mode. Either win 10 games against random opponents, or alternatively find a friend to play online with, and take it in turns to win until you both win 10. On the 10th win, this achievement will unlock.

Dinner Party Posse

Finish 15 party games

Simply play 15 games in Arcade Mode.

It’s A Cook-Off!

Finish 15 versus games

Finish 15 versus games online. Win or lose, so long as you stay until the end, it counts towards finishing a game. The technique described in “Battered” will help you to grind this one out.
