This guide covers all achievements from the game Sniper Elite v2 Remastered and will help you attain 100% with in-depth details.

Achievements that can’t be missed

The following achievements will unlock after playing through the main game campaign missions.

Trainee Sniper

Achievements related to specific campaign missions

Get Off the Ground
Kill everyone in the convoy from ground level, except for Kreidl

This achievement can be obtained during Mission 2 – Schöneberg Convoy

After you place the 2 explosive satchels and repositioned yourself to the top floor of the destroyed building, and the cutscene has run, make the satchel explode, so that only the armored vehicle gets destroyed by it, then shoot Kreidl. Once that’s done, make your way down the buildings floor until you exit.
Once you have taken out all enemy soldiers plus the tank, from the ground level, the achievement should unlock.

Kilroy was Here
Make it through the tower to the winch room without being spotted

This achievement can be obtained during Mission 6 – Tiergarten Flak Tower

The window of opportunity starts, once you reached the checkpoint inside the Flak Tower Building. Conditions must be held up until you reach the winch room, where yet another checkpoint triggers and at that time the achievement should unlock for you, in case you did everything right.

High and Mighty
Wipe out the Elite Russian Sniper Team from the rooftops

This achievement can be obtained during Mission 8 – Kreuzberg Headquarters

After the cutscene, where Karl pulls the bombing site locations map out of the fire and you are being ambushed by snipers, is where the window of opportunity starts.
There are a total of 15 possible (fixed) spawnpoints, which are dynamically generated for each time you play through this mission, where snipers may or may not appear and a total of 4 hidden triggerpoints, where batches of snipers are being spawned across the map, during the time you make your way towards the window on the far end of the ledge, which will also end the mission.

Before you pass through that window, make sure you took out every enemy sniper. The achievement should unlock right away.

General campaign mode related Achievements

Front and Center
Get a scoped headshot over 150m

This achievement is easily obtainable during Mission 1 – Prologue, when you have to shoot your target, Von Eisenberg.

Pass the Buck
Get a sniped ricochet headshot

Easily obtainable during Mission 1 – Prologue, by shooting a pillar, head height, lining up with a soldier, who is standing next to it, shortly after you kill von Eisenberg.

Mousetrap Fuse
Use a trip mine to kill an enemy who is trying to assault your position

Easily obtainable during the Mission 1 – Prologue, after you have completed the task of placing a trip-mine in it’s required spots. Throw a rock past the trip-mine’s position, when you are required to lure them away from you. You may need to throw 2 stones, in order to make them move through the wire.

Hide and Hope
Complete a mission without being shot

Best obtained, by playing on Cadet dificulty, to make it easier. I recommend attempting this during the mission(s) Prologue or Schöneberg Convoy, as they are the easiest missions in the game.

Reloading a checkpoint is possible and will make it easier for you to complete the mission, in case you got shot.

Make Every Bullet Count
Complete a mission with 100% accuracy, using only rifles

Best obtained, by playing on Cadet dificulty, to make it easier. I recommend attempting this during the mission Schöneberg Convoy. This achievement cannot be gained during the prologue. Reloading a checkpoint is possible and will make it easier for you to complete the mission, in case you missed a shot.

Ear Plugs
Kill an enemy while your rifle fire is masked by a loud sound

Can be obtained during any mission, where the sound concealment icon on the top right on your screen appears. Line up a shot on an enemy, while the icon is present and the achievement is yours. Killing an enemy this way also counts towards progression of the achievement “Silent but deadly”

Fuel Tank
Destroy a tank by sniping the fuel supply

First chance to obtain this, is during Mission 2, Schöneberg Convoy, after Kreidl and his convoy escort have been taken out. Just shoot the red, highlighted fuel cap on the back of the german Tank and the achievement is yours.
In case you are playing this in a co-op session, note that this achievement is not shared between players, but awarded only to the player who shot the cap.

Deadeye
Snipe an enemy through his eye

Just do it.

Double Dose
Snipe 2 people with one shot

Line up two enemies with your scope and shoot. The easiest way of doing this is with a double headshot opportunity. Lower body parts will always have a higher hit & miss chance.

Cooking Off
Snipe a grenade on an enemy’s webbing from 100m

Most enemies wear their grenades on a hip-belt. It’s usually either dangling down from the frontside or the backside. There are 2 types of grenades in the game: F1 Grenade and Stielhandgranate.

Target Exploded
Kill an enemy by shooting nearby explosive barrels

First opportunity to gain this achievement is during Mission 1 – Prologue, after you made your way back to the streets, where you lured 2 guards away from a cover spot behind a german vehicle and after you escaped an ambushing german tank. A truck full of soldiers will arrive on the scene. Once the truck comes to a stop, shoot the red fuel cap and the achievement will be yours.

Fingered
Snipe off an enemy’s finger

This achievement has a high hit & miss chance. I advice attempting this on Cadet difficulty, to make it easier. A reliable way to do this, is by shooting an enemy who is carrying a Rifle and has their hand wrapped around the rifles handle. Simply aim a bit above the palm of the hand and the achievement should be yours. Should this give you any trouble, refer to this video, which may lend additional help:

Sniper Elite
Complete all missions on Sniper Elite difficulty

Note: This achievement does not take co-op campaign progression into account. You will have to complete the game in Single Player Mode to unlock it.

Cooperative Play
Complete any mission in Campaign Coop

Progressive Achievements

Silent but Deadly
Covertly kill 25 unaware enemies

Note: Any way of suspicion from the enemy AI will delay your window of opportunity.

Ways of killing that count towards the progression:

• Masked sound shots
• Stealth kills (Approach an enemy,closely, from behind and execute them with a melee attack, when the corresponding prompt appears on screen)
• Kills with the Welrod pistol.

War Reporter
Capture 20 war stories in Photo Mode

While playing, press the key “P” to cast the photo mode in-app and make a screenshot, as you normally would, with the [key] you have assigned to make a steam screenshot. Press the key 20 times and the achievement is yours.

Detonator
Career total of 50 shots on explosives

This is obtained by simply shooting any kind of explosives placed in the games missions. Kills with it are not necessary but since you would make progress towards “Target Exploded” and “Exploding Pants”, it is advisable to not miss such windows of opportunity.

Go the Distance
Get a cumulative sniped kill distance of a marathon

Unlocks once your killshot distance sums up to the length of at least 42 kilometers and 195 meters. Progress can be tracked through the main menu by selecting Extras > Career Stats.

Iron Lung
Hold your breath for a cumulative time of half an hour

Selfexplanatory.

Potato Masher
Kill 100 enemies with explosives

Can be obtained the following ways:

• Shooting a grenade on an enemy’s webbing.
• Shooting and killing enemies by making fuel barrels, Flak Gun Ammunition, Propane tanks and vehicle fuel tanks (Shoot the red fuel cap) explode.
• By the use of explosive traps (Trip-Mine, Landmines, Dynamite)
• By the use of grenades.

World Record
Get 506 cumulative sniper kills

Gung Ho
Snipe 100 moving targets

Enemies need to be moving at a faster pace than walking, in order to be accounted for this.

Head Honcho
Get 100 sniped headshots

Bomb Happy
Survive 10 games of Bombing Run

Play in Co-op to achieve it faster.

A Stones Throw
Distract 20 enemies with rocks

Right at the start of “Schöneberg Convoy” you’ll find a soldier, leaning on a concrete pillar. Throw a rock, then restart the mission and do this 19 more times over.

A Seasoned Sniper
Complete 40 hours of service

You will want to keep a close eye on your career statistics under the Extras section of the main menu. You need a total of 40 hours recorded there. From what i’ve noticed so far, it does only summarize playtime from successfully completed missions/sessions.

When you leave a mission before it is finished, the time spent will not be added.
When you die and restart to a checkpoint, the time spent before you reached a starting or checkpoint from whereafter you died, will not be added.

Sneaky
Accumulate 50 stealth kills in single player

Melee-kills only. The easiest way to do this is by playing the mission “Schöneberg Convoy”. Right at the beginning you will find a soldier leaning on a concrete pillar, that you can grind this one on. Simply snap his neck; then restart the mission and do this 49 more times.

Exploding Pants
Snipe a grenade on an enemy’s webbing 12 times

Refer to the commentary under the achievement “Cooking Off” for more details on this one.

Flesh Wounds
Incapacitate 50 enemies

Shooting the extremeties of an enemy soldier or the left/right sides of the lower abdomen, avoiding to hit any vital points or organs, will make this easier.

Bedpan Commando
Resuscitate your partner 10 times in Cooperative mode

Target Spotted!
As a spotter in Overwatch, tag 50 enemies

Play Overwatch Mode with a co-op Partner, as Spotter, and tag 50 enemies by marking them through binocular view.

Target Eliminated!
As a sniper in Overwatch, snipe 50 enemies tagged by your partner

Play Overwatch Mode with a co-op Partner, as Sniper, and kill 50 enemies that your spotter has marked for you.

Can Do!
Complete all Overwatch missions in Cooperative mode

Achievements related to the Challenge Missions

Mission Neudorf Outpost:

Silence is Golden
Complete Neudorf Outpost without alerting any AI

This one is tough to achieve, because the enemy AI is annoyingly ‘clairvoyant’ smart… in a cheap way.

Smoking Kills
Kill 6 smoking soldiers on Neudorf Outpost

Note: Enemy placement is randomly selected throughout each playthrough. Restart the mission, until your starting point placement of the 2 enemies looks like the one in the video, if you want to follow through the same way.

Mission Landwehr Canal:

Watchmen
Eliminate all 5 Snipers watching the meeting point on The Landwehr Canal without them spotting you

and…

You were only supposed to…
Allow all 3 commanders to enter the command centre in The Landwehr Canal, then blow the doors.

Mission Saint Pierre:

Secret Service
Kill all the guards in Saint Pierre before getting to the church without being detected.

This is the most difficult achievement in the game. I don’t recommend trying this without assistance of a video guide, unless you are masochistic. The enemy AI is clairvoyant and can spot you through walls sometimes. Refer to this video for help:

Shoot the Alps
Get a total shot distance of over 4,000 meters in Saint Pierre

Selfexplanatory. Shouldn’t be hard to achieve if you keep shooting enemies, while keeping far distance shooting in mind, while chasing this goal.

Mission Assassinate the Führer:

Target Führer
Kill Hitler with a testicle shot

During the final part of the mission, after a short cutscene, you will get a total 4 opportunities of shooting Hitler in the testicles, whenever he’s making a run for cover, or to his final escape spot.

Lining up the crosshair a bit further ahead of his position should do the trick, when playing on Cadet difficulty, which is advisable for quick and easy achievement of this one.

Multiplayer Achievements

If you are, like me, not really enjoying the multiplayer features of this game, you may want to ask your friends to help you with these in a friends-only lobby. Many of them can be combined with each other. By doing so you should be able to get them all in 1h+.
