Hellish Quart Move List

Until the developers give us actual Move Lists in the Pause Menu, I made my own.

All button presses are shown as if you are using an XBox controller, or at least one with the same buttons, like the Logitech gamepad I use. They are also shown as if you are Player 1 on the left side of the screen.

I have also listed my favorite moves. If you have any suggestions then add them in the comments.

ALL CHARACTERS

When opponent does a low attack:

  • Punish (←Y or ←X): quickly pull your lead leg back, then high attack at the opponent’s head.

My Favorite Attacks – Either Foot Forward:

  • (B) and (←B) are very useful at close range if you need to extricate yourself.
  • (→→Y) is a very high-risk, high-reward move. If it hits then it’s almost always a kill, but if the opponent blocks it then it leaves you vulnerable.

  • (Y) can sometimes result in a quick kill, but it’s hard to get the range just right.
  • (→Y) and (→Y, X) are really useful in a variety of situations.
  • (→X, B) looks awesome, but can leave your head exposed.
  • (↑X) can be chained endlessly and is useful for circling your opponent.
  • (→A) and (→A, B) are good for crippling your opponent’s legs, especially against saber users.

My Favorite Attacks – Right Foot Forward:

  • (A, Y) and (→A, Y) are really effective combos.
  • (Y) and (←X) can be chained after most attacks or combos.

GEDEON (SABER)

After certain attacks, Gedeon switches which foot he has forward, but unlike Isabella most of his attacks are the same no matter which foot he has forward. In most cases, if he is left-foot forward and does a right attack then he’ll switch to right-foot forward, or if he is right-foot forward and does a left attack then he’ll switch to left-foot forward.

My Favorite Attacks:

  • Basically all variations of High Right (Y, →Y, ←Y, ↑Y, and ↓Y) are effective and useful in multiple situations.
  • (X, Y) and (→X, →Y) are pretty good combos.
  • A lot of Gedeon’s attacks chain really well, even outside of the defined combos.
