This guide explains all items, their uses, and stats.
Objective items
Dynamite
Dynamite is used to destroy the train cart(s) that are blocking the train from leaving or to stun the worm until it can heal, dynamite can be found in the quarry or chest that is randomly generated around the map, the dynamite can be put into the backpack but takes up 2 space in the backpack.
Train Key
The train key helps start up the train so that the player(s) can escape, the key has no designated spot on the map meaning that it will just spawn anywhere on the map, the train key cannot be put into the backpack unlike most items.
Utility items
backpack
The backpack can be used to increase the storage of items you can hold in your bag by 2, backpacks can be found randomly on the sand, and they can be stacked to have even more storage than just having one backpack.
cactus fruit
The cactus fruit restores 20 (not 20%) of the player’s health upon use, the cactus fruit can also be used as a fuel item, providing 1 fuel for the train, the cactus fruit can be found on top of some small cacti or in chests.
Heart Jar
The heart jar can be used by dropping inside the yellow perimeter around the church to revive a player with 60 health, the heart jar is dropped when a player is killed but only can be used/dropped once per match, players as ghosts can push their own or other player(s) heart jar towards the church or other players to make it easier for other players to revive them.
Ladder
The ladder can be placed down for the player(s) to climb up, it does not need any support to stand up, the ladder can be used to hide from the worm, but can be seen by the worm when it is on the ground, it has a 100% chance to spawn near the water tower, a high chance to spawn near the train caboose or near a house.
Fuel items
Fuel items
These items need a little bit more of an explanation than most other items in LTOWT, all of these items fuel the train but not all of them fuel the same amount, some of them can’t even be held for the same amount of other fuel items, the fuel can be different for each time, like more fuel (takes more fuel) or less fuel (takes less fuel) .
Barrel
Barrels cannot be held in the bag but will provide 4 fuel, barrels can be found on the porches of small and medium houses
Bed
Beds cannot be held in the bag but will provides 3 fuel, bed can be found in any house around the map and can easily be used as a platform
Bench
The bench takes up a full inventory (not including backpacks) and provides 5 fuel, benches can be found in small houses
Big Coal
The big coal takes 2 storage and provides 7 fuel, big coal can be found in some chests.
Bucket
The bucket takes 1 storage and provides 2 fuel, buckets can be found in small, medium, large, and two-story houses.
Chair
The chair takes 2 storage and provides 4 fuel, chairs can be found in large and two-story houses.
Coffee Pot
The coffee pot takes 1 storage and provides 2 fuel, it is currently unknown where the coffee pot is found.
Dutch Oven
The dutch oven takes 3 storage and provides 5 fuel, it can be found in two-story houses.
Grain Sack
The grain sack cannot be put into the backpack but provides 3 fuel or as a platform, it is the only item that can’t be put into the backpack and can be eaten by the worm.
Gramophone
The gramophone takes 3 storage but provides 7 fuel, gramophones can be found in the second floor of two-story houses.
Lantern
The lantern takes 1 storage but provides 2 fuel, the lantern also provides light during the night time.
Massive Coal
The massive coal takes 3 storage but provides 12 fuel, it can be found in chests the massive coal is the biggest coal, it also provides the most fuel out of any fuel item.
Panting
the panting takes 2 storage but provides 2 fuel, the panting can be found in large or two-story houses, it is the only item with multiple variants.
Pew
The pew cannot be put in the backpack but provides 6 fuel, the pew can be found in the church.
Pulpit
The pulpit cannot be put in the backpack but provides 5 fuel, can be found in the church.
Rusty Tin Can
The rusty tin can takes 1 storage but provides 1 fuel, it can be found in tall, medium, and large houses.
Skillet
The skillet takes 1 storage but provides 2 fuel, but it is currently unknown where the skillet can be found.
Small Coal
The small coal takes 1 storage but provides 3 fuel, it can be found in any house variant and inside chests.
Stool
The stool takes 1 storage but provides 2 fuel, the stool can be found in tall, medium, and two story houses
Table
The table can’t be put into the backpack but provides 5 fuel, it can be found in large and two-story houses.
Miscellaneous items
Crate
The crate is used for a platform, they are found on the train or randomly on the sand.
Tumbleweed
Tumble weed takes 1 storage and is used as a distraction item because they roll really far really easily, they can be randomly found on the sand.
