Mount & Blade II Bannerlord Cheats & Console Commands (Dev Console)

Mount & Blade 2 Bannerlord Cheats & Console Commands

There are many older codes and players try to enter console in-game using Ctrl +`. But there is no cheat menu yet. You can only use developer console. Follow the steps below and activate the cheat mode (developer console).

Other Mount & Blade II Bannerlord Guides:

Note: Steam achievements become disabled when you enable cheats in the launcher.

Mount & Blade II Bannerlord Cheats

How to Enable Developer Console (Cheat Mode)

  • Go to Documents\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord\Configs
  • Open “engine_config.txt”
  • Look for “cheat_mode = 0” and change the value to “1”

Once you have complete steps above and activate developer console, you can use only the following 8 commands after starting a new campaign.

  • Ctrl + Left Click – Teleports you to the selected location on the world map.
  • Ctrl + H – Fully heals you.
  • Ctrl + Shift + H – Fully heals your horse.
  • Ctrl + F4 – Knocks an enemy unconscious.
  • Ctrl + Shift + F4 – Knocks all enemies unconscious.
  • Ctrl + F2 – Knocks out one of your own soldiers.
  • Ctrl + F3 – Knocks out the player.
  • Ctrl + Shift + F3 – Knocks your horse unconscious.

Note: You need to start a new campaign after activating the cheat mode (developer console). Otherwise the cheats will not work. (old info)

You do not have to start a new story to use the cheats. I’ve used cheated on my loads from before activating them and after without any issues at all. (ty Robert)

from Geogie Further note on using cheatmode: You have complete access to all the items in the world in an unlimited quantity. Once you activate it in the config file you can load the game, then open your inventory. On the left side of it, where there are normally pickup items or it’s simply empty, you will see all items the game has. That means armor, weapons, goods, horses etc.

I sure many already noticed. It kinda spoils the game though, but it helps with the money problem and also lots of quests (give me goods quests). Useful to compare various armors, weapons and horses to see what is best.

P.S: game can be normally played, it shows only when you are not buying or picking anything (after battle for example)

    • There is no cheat menu for now. But you can use developer console.

Go to Documents\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord\Configs
      Open “engine_config.txt”
Look for “cheat_mode = 0” and change the value to “1”

Once you have complete steps above and activate developer console, you can use only the following 4 commands after starting a new campaign.

Ctrl+Left Click – Teleports you to the selected location on the world map.
      Ctrl+H – Fully heals you.
CTRL+Shift+H – Fully heals your horse.
Ctrl+F4 – Knocks an enemy unconscious.

Note: You need to start a new campaign after activating the cheat mode (developer console). Otherwise the cheats will not work.

  5. The CTRL + X (for all tabs) and CTRL + L (for character menu) Do not work. All other cheats (from what I can see for now) do work. I would like to level up my horseman skill faster but cannot because CTRL + X doesn’t work. Any suggestions?

  7. So basically there is no console when you use Ctrl (+) ~
All that is left are the 4 cheats , Heal yourself , Heal your horse , Teleport and Knock enemies out
Too bad , its not like tale worlds to deny users from using the cheats
They had no problems with cheats in M&B and Warband

  8. Little hint, if you activate the cheat code’s via the the path, you will get all items on the left side in the inventory,
get them all in your inventory , drag maybe some amor and weapons you like and sell them all to merchants to get money… ^^

after you have sell these items , they never ever appear on the left side

  11. In order to access the console commands with ctrl ~ in game you need a mod from nexus. You can install it with vortex mod manager easily enough. The mod in nexus is called Developer Console. Install it with vortex or manually and start the game.On the start up menu where you choose between singleplayer and multiplayer click mods and enable developer console. Then when your in game press ctrl ~ and the developer console should pop up. Also note you can find the codes for developer console by just looking them up on google with mount and blade 2 bannerlord console commands. Also you may want to have cheats enabled as well as cheats work hand in hand with the developer console so it would be better to have them enabled, although I am not sure if they are required. Hope this Helps!

Then write campaign. and it will complete all available options for you

  15. I was able to use the reveal map cheat until recently by using ctl+[a key I don’t remember]+T I believe. Has anybody had any luck with any combination of keys that would reveal the map? It was working maybe 2 major patches ago and I deleted my old save games before I realized I could no longer make it work.
