My Summer Car How to Boost FPS (Increase FPS)

My Summer Car is the ultimate car owning, building, fixing, tuning, maintenance AND permadeath life survival simulator. You start the game with hundreds of loose parts and assemble both car and engine.

How to Boost FPS (Increase FPS)

The game is awesome but the optimization is not so awesome so i decided imma teach you how to boost your performance so that the game is enjoyable! Here’s where i get off.

Method #1 OpenGL

1. The first thing you are going to do is open up your Steam library, find My Summer Car, press right mouse button and select the last option – properties.

2. The second thing is in the properties menu, under general you are going to click the button that says “SET LAUNCH OPTIONS” and then a window should open up.

3. This window is actually a text box from where we’re telling our game to launch itself with OpenGL, so what you’re going to do is type this text: “-force-opengl”, then you click ok and you open the game.

4. If there was an effect you could go from the guide but if you still have no fps and you’re thinking this guy’s a ♥♥♥♥ing idiot, then go to Method #2 DirectX.

Method #2 DirectX

1. The first thing you are going to do is open up your Steam library, find My Summer Car, press right mouse button and select the last option – properties.

2. The second thing is in the properties menu, under general you are going to click the button that says “SET LAUNCH OPTIONS” and then a window should open up.

3. This window is actually a text box from where we’re telling our game to launch itself with OpenGL, so what you’re going to do is type this text: “-force-directx”, then you click ok and you open the game.

4.I really hope this works. If it works a little bit you should check the tricks ingame to boost your fps!

Ingame tricks that everyone knows.

I don’t actually know all of them so the most popular one is when you load, take a look around the house and turn off all the lights. Since the game is not optimised these help the bad fps to take over you extreme computer.
