Kinda follows the trope of casters being weak early; there’s little he can offer the party that can’t be found elsewhere. Sometime past midgame the situation changes for the better with Enforced Vigor providing party buffs and him gaining progressively stronger Area of Effect spells. He’s pretty much a Necromancer Sorcerer, but with a Divine package attached, which is not the worst deal ever.

We could sacrifice something for a Pranked Beneficial Curse, but it doesn’t actually give us Mirror Image for whatever reason, so it’s better to pass on it. Besides, that’d also push us towards enchantments, which other characters have enough of.

The other road he could go is nature with summons and an animal companion, but that puts pressure on the party to have Magic Fang, so maybe later, once Hunt Caller is fixed.
