Warpriest (Cult Leader)
Wenduag is acquired during the prologue if you don’t choose to take Lann. Best thing about her is we get her at Level 1 and even if we don’t keep her, she will rejoin at the same level we left her.
Other Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous Guides:
Needs a +4 item to cast level 6 spells, but that’s not that big of a deal. What’s important is she no longer crashes the game if we give her a divine class. A solid fire support with some divine tricks up her sleeve.

Freebooter
Someone has to take the L on damage to buff the party with Booter Bond; might as well be Wenduag. She did say she’ll do anything for us, after all.
There’s a solid enough progression here and she does do respectable damage in the end if you don’t ditch her once the difficulty curve flattens.
You could try and stack the Armour Class (AC) with Defensive Study and whatnot, but it’s probably not worth it as it doesn’t come free.
Go with the Shield until Level 13, then swap to Two-Weapon Fighting (TWF). We can’t really sustain the Attack Bonus (AB) high enough prior anyway.
