There are 33 Red Dead Redemption 2 Cheats. This page contains all cheat codes for Red Dead Redemption 2 and how to unlock and activate them. Most Cheats require you to purchase Newspapers from Newspaper Vendors. More of these unlock as you progress in the story.

The Newspaper Sellers are found in: Valentine, Strawberry, Rhodes, Blackwater, Annesburg. Each region has its own series of newspapers so be sure to buy them all.

How to unlock cheat codes?

Red Dead Redemption 2 cheat codes are mainly found in newspapers. You can buy these for a small amount of money from retailers – pay attention to the number, volume and vintage of the newspaper. Some of the codes are in exact numbers, so you won’t find them elsewhere.

You can also find cheat codes in other items available in the game. Collect all possible items and look at them carefully in search of hidden codes.

Only when you enter the code will it be saved in the list of codes available in the game.

How to use cheat codes?

Once you have found the code, you must enter the game settings. There, using the appropriate button (triangle for PS4), enter the code list. Enter the cheat you have found. Remember that you can’t make any typos. However, the letter size does not matter here.

• PS4: Press Options-Button to open Pause Menu – Settings – Press Triangle to open Cheats List – Press Triangle to Enter Cheat Code
• Xbox One: Press Menu-Button to open Pause Menu – Settings – Press Y to open Cheats List – Press Y to Enter Cheat Code

Remember that most of the codes will not work if you haven’t bought or found the item in which they are stored.

How cheats affect the game?

If you decide to use a cheat in Red Dead Redemption 2 you won’t be able to save the game or unlock any achievements. You have to deactivate the used cheat code in order to be able to use these features again.
