Red Dead Redemption 2 – The Bridge to Nowhere Walkthrough

The Bridge to Nowhere

The Bridge to Nowhere is one of the main missions available in Red Dead Redemption 2. John and Arthur place dynamites under Bacchus bridge – they want to distract the convoy and hinder the process of transporting the cargo.

How to get a gold medal in The Bridge to Nowhere?

  • Plant the dynamite within 1 minute and 35 seconds – Be quick at planting dynamites in the spots marked on the map.
  • Escape the oncoming train within 19 seconds – Press and hold X/A in the right moment to complete this task fast.

To start this mission, head to Bacchus Station, up north in between Grizzlies East and Cumberland Forest. Walk to the back of the carriage to meet up with John.

Arthur tell John to take his woman and child and get out of here when he has the chance. But for now, they’re going to help Dutch with this dynamite scheme.

You and John will start transporting the dynamite on a cart. Press x/a to press down, and release the button when it starts going back up.

When you get near the middle of the bridge, you’ll stop. Move the dynamite crates to the side of the bridge and lower them down to John. Alternate between L2 and R2 to lower the dynamite crates.

When you’re done, climb down the ladder to get down to John, and pick up some dynamite. Plant the dynamite on the pillars of the bridge – they’re marked with yellow on your map. You’ll have to go back for more dynamite each time.

John plants one of them for you, but you’ll have to plant three yourself while he gets the hand cart.

As soon as you plant the dynamite, run back to the ladder, back the way you can, as fast as you can.

Get to the handcart, and push it as fast as possible to escape the oncoming train.

You’ll automatically jump to safety once you reach solid ground.

Now head to the detonator with John. Press square/x to crouch down to the detonator, and press R2 to detonate the dynamite for a nice explosion that destroys that bridge, which will probably destroy hundreds of people’s day over the next few months while it gets rebuilt.

As Arthur and John walk back to the wagon, Arthur, again, tells John that he needs to go. John says he thinks Abigail knows where some of the money Dutch has stashed away is, and Arthur asks him to tell him when he knows for sure.
