Remnant From the Ashes Best Loadouts & Builds

Decided to make a list of loadouts that can be fun or useful to use in Remnant. Edit any of these loadouts to fit your play style, or don’t even use them, play how you want. I will be updating this page periodically.

Recommended Traits are just Traits that would help the build be more effective if maxed out, they do not require the Traits to work though.

Best Loadouts & Builds

Remnant From the Ashes Guide

Farming Build

The Rundown

The Adventurer’s Set gives you a bonus to Scrap you’ve collected, and increases your chance of getting loot from destroyed objects like wooden crates. Although any weapons, and weapon mods can be used, you will always want to use Scavenger’s Bauble for it’s Scrap bonus, Sagestone for the EXP bonus, and Loop of Prosperity for double the metal gain.

The Teamwork Trait can also be useful in co-op because it increases the range of the Teamwork buff, which among other things, gives increased EXP gains, although it is not required.

Speed Running Build

The Rundown

The Drifter’s Set gives you a high amount of stamina reduction, which when paired with other items makes your stamina bar last a very long time, and regenerate very quickly. Because the set isn’t based around a certain damage component, and is purely built so you can run for long stretches of time, you can use any weapons you like, although there are some weapon mods that can give you increased movement speed or even teleport your short distances.

Pocket Watch vs Leto’s Amulet is up to personal preference. You should always be wearing Heart of the Wolf, but your other ring can be any of the other suggested rings. You want to be spamming adrenaline when it’s not up to make good use of your massive stamina bar.

Critical Strike Build

The Rundown

The Radiant set gives you a big critical chance and critical damage bonus with continuous fire, because of this, it is best to use high fire rate, fast reload weapons, you can use weapons without the latter, but you will occasionally lose the Radiant set buff as it only lasts for 2 seconds. Hunter’s Mark is also recommended because of it’s bonus critical chance, but the other weapon mod can be anything I recommend Hot Shot as it increases your overall damage. Because this build also lives and dies by your critical chance, critical damage, and most importantly keeping your gun constantly firing, it is best to use an amulet like the gunslinger’s charm, and rings like braided thorns, and devouring loop.

The Loadout

  • Curse of the Jungle God.

  • Evocation. (Swamps of Corsus DLC)

Health Regeneration Build

The Rundown

The Twisted Set gives you an insane amount of health regeneration, even more so when paired with other items and traits. The armor set is also good in terms of tankiness too. Because the set is based around regenerating health, you should use the Pride of the Iskal if you have it, as it’s weapon mod can heal insane amounts of health. I suggested Ruin as a long gun because of it’s ability to revive you, but you can use any long gun.

Riven is the best melee weapon for the same reason as Pride of the Iskal, as it gives you health on hit. Your weapon mod can be anything but I’ve just suggested good defensive mods. Mender’s charm is a must purely because it makes all your healing stronger. Blood font is also a must because of it’s health regeneration, but your other ring is up to you, it can be any ring. I suggest Teamwork and Fortification as Traits because they enhance your defence when you’re with your teammates.

The Loadout

Hand Guns:

  • Pride of the Iskal.

Long Guns:

  • Ruin.
  • Any other Long Gun.

Melee Weapons:

  • Riven.

  • Mender’s Aura.
  • Flicker Cloak.
  • Howler’s Immunity.
  • Veil of the Black Tear.

Armor Sets:

  • Twisted Set.

  • Mender’s Charm.

Rings:

  • Blood Font.
  • Ezlan’s Band.
  • Leech Ember.

  • Mudtooth’s Tonic.
  • Divine Nectar.
  • Golden Plum.

  • Vigor.
  • Spirit.
  • Keeper’s Blessing.
  • Mother’s Blessing.
  • Guardian’s Blessing.
  • Triage.
  • Bark Skin.
  • Teamwork.
  • Fortification. (Swamps of Corsus DLC)

Support Build

The Rundown

The Elder Set allows you to buff your teammate’s damage when using your Dragon Heart, and along with Mender’s Charm, can also heal them too. You can use the Bomber Hat instead of the Elder Headdress. Because its a support focused build, you can bring any weapons, but I do recommend Guardian Axe as it will let you charge your support weapon mods much faster, it isn’t required though.

Make sure you bring Mender’s Aura, the other weapon mods I’ve suggested are good mods for helping teammates in a variety of situations. I recommend Hero’s Ring as a must because it makes picking up teammates very easy, but Band of Accord isn’t a must, its just the only other ring that can be classified as “support”, can be replaced with any other ring. Arcane Strike for the same reason as Guardian’s Axe.

The Loadout

Hand Guns:

  • Use any Hand Gun.

Long Guns:

  • Use any Long Gun.

  • Guardian Axe.

  • Mender’s Aura.
