These are the default keyboard and mouse shortcuts for the game Resident Evil Village. The controls listed below are the default controls that may be changed by the user.
Resident Evil Village PC Hotkeys & Shortcuts
The controls are segmented to make it easier to find.
General Controls
These are the default general controls.
- Aim – RMB
- Attack – LMB
- F – Examine / Pick up item
- R – Reload
- Space – Guard
- Ctrl – Use recovery items
- Alt – Zoom in / out (sniper rifle scope)
- W – Move forward
- S – Move back
- A – Move left
- D – Move right
- ↑ Shift – Run
- C – Crouch / Stand
- Q – Quick turn
- 1 – Switch weapon left
- 2 – Switch weapon up
- 3 – Switch weapon right
- 4 – Switch weapon down
- P – Pause
- V – Open Map / Journal or M
- Tab – Open Inventory or I
Menu Controls
These are the default menu controls.
- F – OK or Enter
- RMB – Return / Cancel or B
- A – Lef
- W – Up
- D – Right
- S – Down
- Q – Change category tabs left
- E – Change category tabs right
- Z – Change categories left
- C – Change categories right
- R – Reset
- Ctrl – Hide / Display controls
Puzzles Controls
These are the default puzzles controls.
- Q – Rotate left
- E – Rotate right
- Space – Interact
Map Controls
These are the default map controls.
- T – Change floors up
- G – Change floors down
Inventory Controls
These are the default inventory controls.
- ↑ Shift – Move
- Space – Rotate
- Alt – Stack items
- 1 – Retrieve from Temp Items
- 3 – Send to Temp Items
Note: The controls used to play Resident Evil Village are a combination of keyboard keys, the mouse and mouse buttons. All keys can be re-assigned using the Controls tab found in the Options tab (Press ESC while in-game) on the main menu of the game. From there you can change the key bindings.
