Side Jobs Guide Apostle Rebellion

Here’s all you need to know to get the side jobs done in the best way possible (credits go to Nefyari for posting the original guide in the Kagura Games’ server and sharing the screenshots with me)

Apostle Rebellion Side Jobs

There are some things to do before we start doing side jobs and getting those sweet WP.

* You’ll get a message from Maxim telling you to go to Mowson Eleven ASAP. Go there to get your first WP and unlock the side jobs.

* Wait until you get a prompt telling you it’s the last time you can explore the city. That way all the side jobs and minigames will be available

* Unlock the Card Collection sidequest. Talk to the clerk in the leftmost part of the Casino in Neo-Akiba to do so.

* Unlock the fishing minigame. To do so, go to the harbor and talk to the fisherman.

* It’s really easy to get lost in Sector 50, so here’s a map showing where every relevant place is

SJ #1 Car Repair

Location: Home, Garage

Return to your room, pick up the tools in the kitchen, return to the garage, and complete a mini-game

Reward: Energy Drink x1, 1WP

SJ #2 Arrest the Scammer

Location: The first screen to the right from the Taxi at home, it’s the man with glasses and a Chinese hat.

Give him 2000 bits. Then run one screen to the right and down a little on the crossroad and talk to the patrolling policeman. Then take the Taxi to Neo-Akiba, get into the Game Bar building, and talk to the scammer.

Reward: 1WP

SJ #3 Find The Doll

Location: Take the Taxi to Mowson Eleven and you’ll see a girl with her mother on the right.

Take the Taxi to Neo-Eden Aqua Land. Grab the doll in the upper left corner and return it to the girl.

Reward: 1WP

SJ #4 Make a Fancy Hamburger

Location: 2 screens to the right from the Taxi.

You can get the ingredients at:

HQ Bread-Manbiki-1000 bit
Ketchup-Manbiki-260 bit
Onion-Mowson Eleven-90 bit
Tomato-Mowson Eleven-150 bit
Hamburg Steak-Aphesis, 2nd floor, cafe-980 bit

Cook it at home once you got everything and give it to the quest giver

Reward: Hamburger x1, 1WP

SJ #5 Find the Doubanjiang

Location: Chinatown, at the entrance of the factory where you fought Madam.

Travel to Aphesis, go to the 2nd floor and enter the Hall of Baphtus. Revisit Chinatown Megiddo. 1 screen upper-left, 1 screen left. Press X on the Action Point and return the Doubanjiang to the quest giver.

Reward: Mom’s Special Mapo Tofu x1, 1WP

SJ #6 Retrieve the Secret Soup Stock

Location: Take the Taxi to the Taxi Station and talk to the guy standing near the Taxi Car

Same as SJ#5, but pick Apartament Megiddo instead. 1 screen to the right, then up, until you see an open door to the ramen shop. Use Action Point and return the Secret Soup Stock to the quest giver.

Reward: 1WP

SJ #7 He Wants To Burn With Fighting Spirit

Location: 3 screens to the right from the Taxi. It’s the shirtless man

You have to give him the “Fighting Spirit Pills”. You can find the item either in the boxes in any of the Megiddos in Hall of Bapthus or lying on the floor (remember to use Zoom to see them). I managed to find one near the Subway Station under the “Billy Club XL” sign, but it may be not the case for you.

Reward: 1WP

SJ #8 The Silver Key

Location: Take the Taxi to the Taxi Station and enter the building just above you. Go up until you see a woman with orange hair.

Use ZOOM Mode (F button) to find the 1st key at the Taxi Station location. Go back and give it to her. Then find the 2nd key in the Taxi Station. Go back and give it to her. Take the Taxi to the Subway Station, find the 3rd key just near the entrance, and go back to give it to her.

Reward: 1WP

SJ #9 Find the Manga

Location: Neo-Akiba. Take the taxi and then go up until you see a fat man in a red jacket.

Call Miyabi. Go to her home (Taxi to Taxi Station, 1 screen to the left, run to the left) and then give the manga to the man with the red jacket.

Reward: Steak x1, 1 WP

SJ #10 Stop Fighting

Location: The two guys at the right of the man from the previous Side Job.

You have to give them the “Loving Bonds” item. You can get it from the chest in the room where you saved the girls from the Skull Diggers, as a random drop from crates in Hall of Bapthus Megiddos, or as a reward from the Shooting Range Tournament.

Reward: 1WP

SJ #11 Getting Jiggy With It

Prerequisite: SJ #8 must be done first
Location: It’s in the apartment where the woman who asked you for the Silver Key was.

There are two ways to do it. You can beat it on hard mode three times, go back home and receive a message inviting you to the tournament, or you can just click on the sparks outside the apartment to go straight to the tournament. The job is done when you win it.

Reward: Roast Chicken x1, Loving Bonds x1, Shimna x1, Bits x10000, NO WP

SJ #12 You Can’t Fight on an Empty Stomach

Location: From Taxi, 1 screen down, then go down, down the ladder, you’ll see a ninja girl at the right.

You have to cook her a Salmon Onigiri. You can get the ingredients at:

Instant Rice-Mowson Eleven-250 bits
Salt-Manbiki-150 bits
Salmon-Mowson Eleven-180 bits

Once you cooked it, go back and give it to her.

Reward: 1WP

While you are at it, answer her quiz to unlock her following quests.
The answers are:

– Number 12
– Pain pain go away
– Hebraios
– Because you make it in a frying pan
– 25000$

SJ #13 Free Throw Battle

Location: Sector 50’s Street Court (Use your hover to go to Sector 50 and then go all the way to the right).

Just win the mini-game.

Reward: card Remy (Swimsuit)x1, 1 WP

SJ #14 Catching Elizabeth

Location: Take the Taxi to Taxi Station, then go 1 screen left, then up till you open door to the cafe, 1 screen to the left, up. It’s the woman with dark glasses.

Start running around Sector 50 until you spot a grey cat. Don’t approach her, use Key Item “Catmint” instead. It’ll stun her for 3 seconds and you’ll need to grab her in that time. Return her to the quest giver. I managed to find her near Roid Repairs (from where you got the side job, go 1 screen to the right, 1 screen up, then run up).

Reward: Elizabeth’s Photo Album x1, 1 WP

SJ #15 Card Collecting

Location: Take the taxi to Neo-Eden Aqua Land and talk to the boy with an afro on the right

You have 3 minutes to run where you saved Person A from the Skull Diggers, grab his card from the left server, and return to the boy.

Reward: It depends on what you do. You get nothing if you don’t return the card, but you get the Kenshin Takeda (Swimsuit) card and 1 WP if you give it back.

SJ #16 Do It For Dad

Location: Inside Manbiki. It’s the woman with red hair.

Call Fuyune, travel to Cafe Ecstasy and talk twice to the barman. Buy the wine for 3000 bits and give it to the redhead woman.

Reward: Another one where what you get depends on what you choose at the end. You get…

– 3WP if you give it to her for free (I repeat, 3 WP!!!)
– 1WP if you make her pay you 3000 bits
– No WP if you make her pay you 10000 bits

SJ #17 A Whole New World of Fried Rice

Location: Chinatown, the farthest from where you arrive. It’s the girl with the cybernetic eye.

Buy the ingredients at:

Fried Rice-Aphesis Cafe-800 bits
Egg x3-Mowson Eleven-300 bits

Then call Ai Lin, cook Soup Fried Rice at home, and return it to the cyborg woman.

Reward: 1 WP

SJ #18 The Boy Who Wants to be a Ninja

Location: Japantown. It’s the boy with a green bandana near the ladder.

He’s hiding in the following places:

1) At the Inari Shrine, he is hiding behind the left column of the main shrine

2) At the main square, behind the column under Sushi Goro

3) On the right side of the casino entrance, behind the barrels (You have 1 minute to find him)

Reward: 1 WP

SJ #19 Losing Isn’t an Option

Location: Go to Harbor where you unlocked the fishing minigame and talk to the fisherman.

You have to catch a fish that’s bigger than 42cm. You’ll now if you’re about to catch a big one if the window of opportunity is small and the gauge moves quickly.

Reward: Food that raises your max HP by 100, Nana Nanashiro (Swimsuit) card, and 1 WP

SJ #20 Delivery Service

Location: To the left of the Guitar Shop. It’s the man in a blue jacket.

You got 3 minutes to deliver the food. The customers are:

1) 1 screen left from the delivery boy. It’s a blond woman in a black dress

2) From where the delivery boy is, go to the right and then 2 screens down. It’s the man with a red tie that’s on the left

3) Go sown, then downstairs, 1 screen down, 1 screen left. It’s the man in the middle of the map.

Go back to the delivery boy to get the rewards

Rewards: Curry Rice x1, 1 WP

SJ #21 Face the Quizmaster

Prerequisite: Finish SJ#18
Location: Japantown, under Casino Entrance

Answer the quiz correctly and the job is done. Here are the correct replies:

– To help counter food poisoning
– Napoleon
– Walker
– Ireland
– Moo

Reward: Card Ritsuka Suzuki (R-18)x1. You don’t get any WP this time

SJ #22 Another Car Repair

Prerequisite: Finish SJ#1
Location: Home, Garage

Finish the mini-game as you did in SJ#1 and the job is done

Reward: Energy Drink x1, 1 WP

SJ #23 Get Grandma’s Medicine

Location: Large open area in Chinatown. It’s the girl with blonde hair.

Go to the Hall of Bapthis on the second floor of Aphesis. Enter Kowloon Megiddo. Go up, past the open door. Go upstairs, then to the upper left corner to the next screen, right, down, right. Use Action Point. Exit Megiddo and give the medicine to the blonde girl.

Reward: Grandma’s Fruit Sandwich x1, 1 WP

SJ #24 Find the Dropped Cards

Location: At the upper part of the casino in Japantown. It’s the man with blue hair and an eye implant.

You have to use ZOOM mode to find the 3 cards all around Japantown. They are…
1) At the central square, behind the pagoda on a metal plate.

2) Near the church, left side alleyway

3) Just left of Eden Paradise

Go back to the blue-haired man once you caught ’em all and give them back to him

Reward: 1 WP and 1 super-rare card of your choice.

SJ #25 Food Fight!

Location: At the right of the subway station

Just call Amelia and talk to the quest giver again.

Reward: 1 WP

SJ# 26 The Power of an Angelic Voice

Location: Canaan Hospital, near hospital doors.

Another easy Side Job. Just call Chloe and then talk again to the black-haired woman.

Reward: 1 WP

SJ #27 I Want Katsudon!

Prerequisite: Finish SJ#21

Location: Inside the little shrine at the top-left corner of the Inari Shrine. Return Home first to get a message from Yaji under the “Side Jobs” tab. In the off-chance you don’t get any messages from her, finish SJ#29 and go back home.

The ingredients for the Katsudon are at:

Egg-Mowson Eleven-100 bits
Onion-Mowson Eleven-90 bits
Pork-Mowson Eleven-400 bits
Cooking Oil-Manbiki-300 bits

Once you have the ingredients, cook the katsudon and give it to Yaji.

Reward: 1 WP

SJ #28 Find the Spot-the-Difference Picture

Location: 3rd floor of Aphesis. It’s the guy with an afro

Enter the Executives Room on the first floor, press Z on the Action Point, and give the picture back to the afro guy. You can play a “Spot the Difference” minigame afterwards, but you don’t get anything for beating it.

Reward: 1 WP

SJ #29 For the Children

Location: Japantown, inside the Church.

Buy the following ingredients and bring them to the nun

Instant Rice x10-Mowson Eleven-2500 bits
Shrimps x5-Mowson Eleven-1500 bits
Sausage x10-Mowson Eleven-2600 bits
Beef x5-Mowson Eleven-3250 bits (the job description doesn’t mention this ingredient, but it’s mandatory to have it)

Reward: 1 WP

SJ #30 Stamp Out the Cult

Prerequisite: Finish all the previous side jobs
Location: Garage, Home. First, go back Home and read the message from Maxim to unlock it.

Just finish the shooting mini-game.
Up, left, up, up, left, up, up, up
Destroy 2 generators, then kill the boss.

Reward: The rewards were the friends we made along the way (AKA you get a whole bag of nothing)
