Subnautica Below Zero Console Commands
Console Commands are a group of tools that adjust the player’s experience outside the normal scope of the game. These commands can be used for debugging purposes, viewing partially implemented content, or simply for player enjoyment.
How to Use Console Commands
The console is an optional feature and is disabled by default. To activate it you need to press F3 and you’ll see a checkbox ticked in the top left saying: “Disable Console”. Press F8 to get a mouse cursor and uncheck the box to activate the console.
Once the console is enabled, press Enter, ~, Ø or Ö, depending on the keyboard, and type one of the commands below. Whenever you restart the game, you need to press one of the overlay keys first (e.g. F3) before pressing the console key.
It is recommended to close all overlays before typing a command, as entering a number does change the game settings on some overlays (e.g. on the F3 overlay).
For Playstation: Enter your world at the start of the game and then press Square + X + R1 + L1 simultaneously to display the ‘Dev Console’ screen. Then enter one of the following codes (without the quotes) to activate the corresponding effect.
For Xbox: Enter your world at the start of the game and then press X + A + RB + LB simultaneously to display the ‘Dev Console’ screen. Then enter one of the following codes (without the quotes) to activate the corresponding effect.
Note! Save your game before using these commands! Using these commands might impair your Subnautica experience, and will disable achievements!

Cheating Using Console Commands
Keep in mind:
Using cheats can negatively impact your experience! This part of the guide will be removed once the game is fully finished.
Because the game is still in Early Access, you can’t find all materials or some of them are randomly placed or in inaccessible places. If you really want some materials, for building your base for example, you can spawn them with console commands. Gold is used as an example:
Item is dropped in front of you.
Item is added to your inventory.
spawn gold 10 or item gold 10
Ten copies of the item. You can replace “10” with desired number.
