Loadout, Abilities and tactics for the relentless german assault squad, the Infanterie.

Basic Informations

The Infanterie is a german assault squad that kind of resembles the Stoßtruppen from the Western Front. As their counterpart in Verdun, the Infanterie is an aggressive squad which uses gas.

General Abilities

Offensive – 50% more weight when capturing enemy sector, 50% less weight when defending friendly sector.

Allows your Feldwebel to call in gas. Unlike in Verdun, you can choose which kind of gas to use regardless of your level.

Squad-Level 1: Whitecross, 45 seconds cooldown
Squad-Level 20: Chlorine, 120 seconds cooldown
Squad-Level 60: Mustardgas, 180 seconds cooldown

Irregulars – 50% more stamina
Does not level up

Feldwebel

The Feldwebel is an aggressive NCO with only a short area of effect for his aura, so he needs to stay close to the rest of his squad. Has a versatile armament which always includes a Feldspaten.

Abilities:

Assault Leader – Squad members within 5 meters range have their abilities activated and lose 25 percent less stamina while sprinting. Squad members near the order cause 50% more suppression on enemies.
Does not level up

Officer & Gentleman – 50%/75% less supression received while wielding melee weapons, 10%/20% more xp for kills with melee weapons
Levels up at 50

Schütze

The Schütze is not exactly a Scharfschütze, instead he excels at melee and hipfiring. Like his idol – the NCO – he always has his trusty Feldspaten with him.

Abilities:

Old Traditions – + 5/10/15 xp for melee kills
Levels up at 33 and 80

Traditional Weapons – 100% more suppression with melee weapons
Does not level up

Trained On Horseback – 33%/50% less hipfire accuracy penalty from movement
Levels up at 40

Richtschütze

The Richtschütze is crucial for the NCO, as he can place a telephone that allows the usage of NCO abilities while in the field. He’s also the best friend of any role that uses grenades.

Abilities:

Field Telephone – Allows to place a field telephone the Feldwebel can interact with

Grenade Ammunition Carrier – Teammates can refill their grenades on you

Effective Logistics – 5xp for spawning on friendly

Grenadier

Good for blowing stuff up. The smaller his weapons, the bigger his grenade arsenal. Expert in hipfiring and throwing grenades while sprinting.

Tactics

Your goal should be to attack most of the time and leave the defense to other squads. Use gas or smoke to cover your advance, then dive into the enemy trench mercilessly and slaughter them with your Feldspaten. Your Richtschütze can give you a Field Telephone so you can order gas outside of friendly territory. Your high stamina allows you to cover even larger distances relatively quick and close in on the enemy.
