How do Perks work?
Players and Companions obtain perk points which they can spend to unlock a perk. Players will have the complete freedom to choose whichever desired perk they want to unlock as well as for the companions that best suit their playstyle or to better improve and specialize in certain skills. For the players, there is a total number of 42 perks within three tiers, while companions have their own set of perks.
There is no limit to acquiring or equipping Perks, and as mentioned, you can unlock as many as you want and choose whichever perk you want. Finally, in order to unlock the next perk tier, players will have to unlock a certain number of perks. For example, players will need to unlock 5 perks from Tier 1 in order to unlock the perks listed in Tier 2.
Can players respec their points?
Yes, they can. At first, it costs 500 Bit Cartridges to respec a player’s Perk Points and the amount doubles and further increases each time you decide to respec your points.
