Once you get to Stellar Bay, you’ll be greeted by Grimm, who will explain that it’s very rare for them to get visitors. He will ask for your name and you will gain Monarch Stellar Industries Reputation (3%). Grimm offers to give you your own entry code. He also says The Board has been lying about Monarch, and mentions you should talk to Mr. Sanjar, and as you for a favor – he wants you to check with Celia if his poster has arrived. Accept and this begins the quest The Grimm Tomorrow.

Speak with Nyoka at The Yacht Club to gain the Passion Pills quest so that she sobers up. This gives you 14,400XP. While you’re here, you can talk to Maguire and get a free drink 1x Zero Gee Brew. He will also explain that 10 years ago, Marauders broke into the executive compound and slaughtered everyone, making the board abandon the place. The incident is called “Amber Heights”. Head to the 2F and talk to Caleb Herrick to gain 1x Glacier Water, and he tells you that they are on strike. You can offer to mediate with Velma on their behalf – this gives you the quest Herric’s Handiwork.

You can head over to Sanjar’s office and talk to Celia Robbins, who will confess she is buying uneeded items from Sebastian to get to talk to him. You can offer to talk to him on her behalf and get the task Flowers for Sebastian.

You can also speak to Sanjar Nandi, he will say Hiram is out at Devil’s Peak. Sanjar will confide that the 10 years of isolation have been hard on Monarch, and they want to get back into the mainstream. He will reveal a plan to get MSI back into The Board. Ask him about it and you’ll obtain the quest BOLT with His Name (Faction Quest). You can also learn more about the planet, that used to be called Terra 1, and the reform that Sanjar and MSI tried to achieve to give more humane working conditions for everyone within.

Complete Passion Pills
Make your way to Abigail Edwards, the medic located in a small building on the left side of the Stellar Bay map. You can ask her for Caffenoid supplements, and then have to reveal who they are for. You can lie (20) or say they are for Nyoka, or private. Abigail will reval that Nyoka’s allotment is exhausted due to her non-participation in their health scheme. She mentions Dr. Williams manage the town allotments from an upstairs terminal. You can persuade (35), ask about Dr. Williams, or Intimidate (55) to get your way. Persuade her, and she’ll reveal she has a key to the supply room, that is upstairs. You can ask about Dr. Williams and you’ll obtain an optional objective of searching his body at the graveyard.

You can go upstairs and hack (55) the terminal to login as Williams to increase Nyoka’s allotment. You can also pick your way into the supply room, or get Dispensary Supply Room Key from Dr. Williams corpse or by pickpocketing Abigail.

Return to Nyoka
Make your way back to Nyoka. You can explore near the tavern first and meet Talmadge Kerr, who will be shuoting someone has been killed inside the apartments. Go into the building to unlock the quest The Stainless Steel Rat.

Once you’re back to Nyoka, you’ll get 21000xp for the step and 28000xp for completing passion pills, plus 14400xp for completing Radio Free Monarch step. Accept Nyoka’s offer to come with you and she will join you as your last Companion.

Head to Fallbrook
Make your way to Fallbrook, visiting Amber Heights for several quests in the process. Talk to Mortimer Bell near the entrance and, if you’re doing Space-Crime Continuum, ask him where to find Catherine Malin, and you’ll gain Sublight Salvage & Shipping reputation.

Devil’s Peak Summit
Head northwest of Fallbrook to find Devil’s Peak Station. Once you arrive at Devil’s Peak Summit speak with Joy Voivode regarding the relay tower she is guarding. If you have the quest Signal Point in Space or Radio Free Monarch, it will update with a note that you may be able to convince the C3 mercenary company to help you.

They are down the hill a short ways. You can Persuade (20) them not to kill you if you said you emerged from the tunnel, and then you can ask them to help you clear the Marauders from the Station. Additionally, if you inquire further about their boss you will obtain the Task: Mandibles of Doom.

If you complete this Task then you can convince the C3 mercenaries to help you attack the Marauders if you can get the main gate open. As you approach the station, you can meet Joy Voivode, who cautions you the station is overtaken by Marauders.

Head the entrance of the Devils’ Peak Station and defeat the Marauders there. There are a lot so be careful. If you have a minute head northeast and loot the Unique Weapon: Hammer of Olympus at Sundered Rock. Then head up the ramp and head into Devil’s Peak Station.

Devil’s Peak Station
Defeat the Marauders inside and then speak to the man via the Intercom, whom you will find out Hiram. If Nyoka is in your party he will recognize her. Hiram will ask you to wipe out the Marauders in exchange for double the going rate. He doesn’t want his broadcasting equipment destroyed. There is a Lockpicking (55) door nearby that has some loot inside, so consider picking it if you can. Then double back and head up the elevator that is now open.

You’ll need to kill all the Marauders here. If you finished the Mandibles of Doom task and convinced the C3 mercenaries to help you, they will help you wipe out the Marauders. Use the Intercom to open the door and speak to Hiram Blythe. You’ll gain 2,500 Bit Cartridges. Ask him about the Information Broker and you’ll gain an Achievement/Trophy and 16000 XP.

You can talk to Hiram to learn more about The Board, the Chairman, Sanjar, Graham and the overall system.

Hiram will ask you to jump start the tower by heading outside and flipping a switch. There is a terminal on the way that you can read some backstory about the Station if you wish. Once you flip the switch a ship will crash land nearby and Graham and Sanjar will argue over what to do with it, and the Faction Quest: Canid’s Cradle will trigger. You’ll gain 3800xp and 14400xp.

Return to Phineas Welles at his Lab to collect your reward of 2500 Bit Cartridges, 36640 XP and you’ll gain a Nav Key to Byzantium. This will trigger the quest The City and the Stars.

2. The Commuter Walkthrough

This is the first Faction quest for the Iconoclasts, and it’s picked up in Amber Heights, Monarch. You can meet Graham Bryant and Zora Blackwood at their command center which is the largest building in Amber Heights, to the right side of your map.

Go inside and talk to Graham, then accept to pick up the delivery to begin the quest. Having Vicar Max on your party during your meeting with Graham can yield some interesting dialogue!. There’s also a terminal in a nearby room that has some information on what transpired between Graham and Sanjar Nandi. You can also learn that he finds Zora to be materialistic, since she’s focused on the needs of the body such as shelter, health and food.

Head to the building near the one you’re in and talk to Zora to get her take and find out what happened at the ruins. You should then head to Bayside Terrace Warehouse to continue the quest. As you arrive, you’ll meet Niles, who is blocking access. You can Lie (55), Persuade (55) or Bribe him for 2877 bits to get access. The SubLight crew that was hunting Carlotta will leave and you can continue the quest. You can kill them, but you will gain negative Reputation with SubLight Salvage & Shipping. An easy way to do this is to head into the first building on the left past Niles and Hack (55) the terminal to vent gas and kill everyone.

Approach the locked door at the edge of the facility and use the intercom. She will open the door and you can go in. There’s a Vending Machine inside if you need it!. Talk to Carlotta, she will give you Printing Press Parts and you’ll earn 7500xp. You can then ask her some questions about what happened, and you can opt whether you want high-capacity data cartridges, or food and medicine.

Pick the one you agree with and earn 7500xp.

Return to Graham and you’ll find him arguing with Zora about the Van Noys, a unit of the Iconoclasts that is MIA. Inform Graham that you got his rollers, and food and medicine if that was your choice. You’ll receive 7500xp and Zora will ask when the next drop is. Inform her that Sanjar has made it illegal to trade with the Iconoclasts. Graham will say they must spread the word, and it unlocks the next quest: Pay for the Printer.

This completes the quest, granting you 15000xp, 2900 Bit Cartridge, Iconoclast Apostle Helmet and Iconoclasts Reputation.

3. Pay for the Printer Walkthrough

This quest is obtained after turning in The Commuter, by talking to Graham about next steps. Graham wants to continue preaching. A discussion between Zora and Graham will reveal that Graham committed their best unit to the printing mission rather than putting them on the ruins, where they are apparently needed.

You can now set off toward the northwest to find the Terra One Publications. It’s most easily accessed from Stellar Bay’s Southwest exit. You’ll come to a battle between Canids, Marauders and August & May Van Noy. Defeat the enemies and talk to the Van Noys. Before you can escort Zora’s team to safety, you’ll be informed they have lost track of their medic.

Approach the facility, and a group of Raptidons will attack you. Defeat them and take the right path up a hill to go toward the medic. There are two Raptidon Colossi defending the medic’s corpse, so prepare for battle. After defeating them, go into the residence and loot the medic to obtain the Unique Weapons: Euthanasia Kit, as well as the Iconoclast Trauma Kit quest item. The Iconoclast Armor and Helmet she is carrying can also be used for the Task: Makes Space Suits, Won’t Travel.

Return to May Van Noy and tell her of the fate of her medic. You’ll get 7500 xp and they will head home to Amber Heights.

You can now go into the printing building. There are several Raptidon enemies that you’ll want to defeat, and a resignation note from Caden Shuster that highlights the many dangers of frontier work. Behind the notice, a locked office contains a terminal with some corporate requests and a high level lockbox that requires 60 to unlock.

Head through the last door on the 1st floor, past a Raptidon Colossus, and up to the 2nd Floor. Access the door with the room overlooking the press and use the terminal to activate the rollers. The quest will update and you’ll earn 7500 xp.

Head back to Amber Heights and go to the second floor to talk to Graham, who is in a heated dispute with Zora. If you helped the Van Noys you’ll get 7500 xp and Iconoclasts Reputation.

Completing the quest gives 15000 xp and Iconoclast Reputation as well as Iconoclast Apostle Armor and 2900 Bit Cartridge.

Follow Zora to the medical building and talk to her. She will reveal that she thinks the Amber Heights Massacre was engineered by someone who gave the pirates access to the gate codes. This unlocks the quest Sucker Bait, which should be completed before advancing the main story; Otherwise, you may lose the option of getting Stellar Bay and The Iconoclasts to join forces.

4. Canid’s Cradle Walkthrough

This quest is triggered automatically when you flip the switch to restart Devil’s Peak Station during the Radio Free Monarch quest. The crash site is just south from the Sulfur Pits, a location on the south-west of Monarch Wilderness.

Make your way there and a new location will unlock: Gunship Crash Site. As you enter, you can loot some corpses and then read the nearby terminal to gain some knowledge about the crash. You’ll find out their crash was human error. Eject the Gunship Captain’s Key and it will be added to your inventory. You can now access the rest of the ship.

Retrieve the Cantankerous Canid Targeting Module and gain 3428xp. The quest will update giving you two separate options: side with Monarch Stellar Industries (talk to Sanjar, you will also get MSI Saltuna Searer) or side with the Iconoclasts (talk to Graham, you will also get The Good Word).

Talking to Sanjar
If you talk to Sanjar Nandi, you can ask him if he can call a truce, and point out that you read his reviews, and he can’t do this alone. If you insist and point out he is good at details, he will ask who you’d expect him to work with. Offer Zora, as she has demonstrated to be rather level-headed. Sanjar says he’s willing to consider it if he sees her review first – accept and you’ll have to go to Rizzo offices in Cascadia to procure them. Head over to Cascadia and find the HR terminal on the ground floor of a large building to the right of the entrance. Read Executive Review – Zora Blackwood to find out she is highly praised and recommended employee of the month. Export it to obtain the Zora’s Executive Review quest item. You can now return to Sanjar at Stellar Bay.

Sanjar will be very impressed by Zora’s credentials and say that if you convince her, he’ll be willing to discuss terms.

Talking to Zora
(Note: If you failed to complete the Sucker Bait quest following Pay for the Printer, Zora may simply refuse to co-operate, stating that your ideals are too similar to Graham’s)

Travel to Amber Heights and Zora will stop you on your way to Graham. She thinks the Iconoclasts need a new leader, and proposes deposing Graham. Agree to support her confronting Graham. Go upstairs and Zora will tell Graham it’s time to step down for the benefit of everyone. He will counter that his people are believers, not soldiers, and ask you why you’re supporting this “mutinous blasphemer”. Answer as you see fit, and Zora will bring up what you found out during the Sucker Bait quest, that Graham is to blame for the massacre. Graham will refuse to stand down and say you’ll have to kill him. Kill Graham for 3425xp. You’ll get negative Iconoclasts reputation and increased The Board reputation.

Talk to Zora, who is not thrilled about what happened. Tell her that her and Sanjar should negotiate. You’ll need Persuade (55) or you can use intelligence and perception. Persuade works well, and she’ll agree to meet him. You’ll get 3428xp

The Negotiation
Fast travel to Stellar Bay Ruins (South) and head to the meeting point, the OSI church. You can push Sanjar by saying that Zora is ready to storm the city, or mention the Iconoclasts can support supply lines for Stellar Bay. A back-and-forth about Graham ensues, but you’re pretty sure Sanjar was not involved. Eventually they will agree, rewarding you with 3428xp and the Peace of our Time trophy / achievement.

Completing the quest gives you 16000xp, the unique weapon Soft Speaker, and 2118 Bit Cartridge.
