The Witcher 3: Finder’s Keepers Walkthrough

Finder’s Keepers Walkthrough

Start Location: The small group of islands north of the north-easternmost portion of Ard Skellig, just north of the ‘Giant’s Toes’ fast travel marker.

After clearing the beach of the bandit camp just north of the ‘Giant’s Toes’ fast travel marker in north-eastern Ard Skellig, look for a wrecked longship atop one of the small islands just to the north. Hop in the water and swim across. As you near this location, a ‘!’ quest icon will appear on the map, there are four level 24 Bandits here we’ll need to deal with to start the side-quest.

Once the Bandits have been dealt with, our objectives will update. We’ll need to examine the surrounding area with Witcher Senses active. Activate Witcher Sense and you can inspect the following:

  • The inscription atop the chest in the centre of the small island.
  • The chest beneath the rock formation on the western side of the small island. Loot this for Solid Skellige Sword quest item.

Once you have looted the Solid Skellige Sword and examined the inscription, our objectives will update once again. Either use the nearby sail boat or return to shore and fast travel to the town of Svorlag on the northwestern island of Spikeroog.

In Svorlag, speak with the merchant by the docks in the southern part of town. During the conversation, hand over the sword to complete the side-quest.

Note: For completing this side-quest you’ll earn 25XP and 55 Crowns.
