UBOAT: Guide for Low Morale

UBOAT is a simulator of a submarine from WWII era. It is a survival sandbox with crew management mechanics while its primary theme is life of German sailors. The boat is their home, but it can become their grave at any time.

Guide for Low Morale

When morale drops to 0% one of 3 events will trigger and jump to 33% afterwards:

  • someone proves to be a seawolf (green pipe)
  • someone has a weak heart, faints and needs medical attention but atleast is quiet. (broken heart)
  • someone panics and makes noise. (pumping heart)

Sort the guys out who panic when docked in harbour. You can do this at the recruitment area. You will have a much better time when on low morale and dont risk getting spotted when destroyers are circling above you.

Doing alarm-drills when not under enemy fire will let you drop morale and check your crew without risk before going right beneath an armed convoy.

Don’t be afraid of staying underwater alarmed until you run out of air. You can trigger alarm state yourself by just crash diving from “deck awash” or “emerged” state. And don’t forget to give your seadogs a proper cap!
