English patch for th16.5!
Here’s what you need to do
Just click in the link below and select “Touhou 16.5 -Violet Detector”. After downloading the files drop everything into your game folder
Default location: Local Disc (C:)>Program Files (x86)>Steam>steamapps > common>th165
Launch the game using the “th165 (thpatch-en).exe” from now on (make sure Steam is running of course) That’s it.
You’ll notice that the patch has an auto-update feature that runs every time you launch the game to search for updates online
IMPORTANT : This is a quick method to translate the game using the “thcrap” standalone patch for 16.5. If you have/play more than 1 Touhou games you might consider installing and using the Touhou Community Reliant Automatic Patcher in it’s entirety and not the standalone patches for each game (which you can find right here) Make sure to follow their instructions to install and patch everything properly!
