Fencing Lessons Walkthrough
from the Var Attre estate after speaking with Rosa var Attre in the ‘Broken Flowers’ main story quest.
To begin the quest, we’ll need to speak with the Var Attre Guard Captain located outside of the estate, which can be found just east of the St Gregory’s Bridge fast travel marker. Following the conversation, we’ll need to head to the objective marker located in the far south-eastern portion of Novigrad.
Note: At this point you’ll earn 10XP.
Speak with Rosa var Attre when you arrive to continue the quest.
Follow Rosa a short distance up the nearby hill onto the bridge. Here you’ll need to duel her. Fortunately, she hasn’t improved since you fought her previously and as before, you can win this fight very easily by simply riposting and following up with an attack until she gives up.
Note: At this point you’ll earn 25XP.
Following the fight Rosa will disappear. Head over to the search area and use Witcher Sense to find a set of footprints. Follow the prints south down into town until you find Rosa being confronted by some bandits. During the ensuing conversation you’ll have a few options:
- Bribe them with 50 Crowns – They will leave without incident. This option will also net you 10XP.
- Use AXII (Level 2) – They will leave without incident. This option will also net you 40XP. “Leave her alone. Piss off.” – This will start a fight in which you will have to kill them all.
No matter your choice during the conversation, after one final chat with Rosa, the quest will be completed.
