Atlas Universe and Biomes Guide
Atlas Universe
Explore the universe of Atlas with IGN’s complete guide. There are four servers, with two for each North America and Europe. One is a PvE (Player vs Environment) server and one is a PvP (Player vs Player) server.
The map above shows starting regions on the grid that players can spawn in. Grid starting locations will disappear and reappear based on player population. There are a total of 255 grid locations.
The map above shows islands for every grid square. It also updates with player claimed territory via colored dots on the Atlas website. Players can claim territory by placing a flag for their Company.
Atlas Biomes
Depending on where certain starting locations are, they can have different Biomes. These biomes change the Creatures, Resources, and weather of islands in that region.
Desert – Hot, barren, environment, where Fiber is abundant. Aggressive creatures can be frequent including Tigers, Giant Snakes, Rattle Snakes, etc.

Tropics
- Western Tropics
- Eastern Tropics
Temperate – Tropical environment including more trees and brush with a moderate, warmer temperature.
- Western Temperate
- Eastern Temperate
Equatorial – Runs across the center of the map.
Tundra – Colder environment. (Needs more info)

Polar – Runs across the top and bottom of the map.
