Chapter 1 Achievements
These are achievements included with the main game, that is free. More info to be added soon.
The Chapel
Movie achievement.
The in-game achievement menu give us this hint:
Let’s watch the movie paying attention to those scenes!
Now let’s input these on the box, get a slider 3 and pop it in the projector:
Go to the TV and change channel to 566 and hit play!
A New Hat
Movie achievement.
At many times during the movie, you can slightly spot the clock always stuck at 08:05
Try putting that time on your clock in-game, which can be accessed at any time, even at start. You’ll get a key to unlock a door on one of the funitures which contain a hat. Go to the mirror and wear that hat.
What happened to the deer?
Movie achievement.
During the movie part where Dale keeps changing channels, one of them has a deer with a number 749 written in the tree.
At any time you have access to the television, input channel 749 and click play. You’ll get the achievement.
Bob’s Story
This is a movie achievement but also a callback to Cube Escape: Case 23.
On the movie credits, in the Kickstarter Backers section, you can see 5 of the names with roman numerals after them.
If you search those names in that dresser full of people’s IDs, you’ll see some symbols bellow those names. Write the symbols down following the roman numeral order: I – II – III – IV – V.
Then input these numbers in the symbol box and you’ll get a tape. Listen to the tape to find out the channel 247,
After you input the channel on the TV, you’ll get a picture of IRL Bob after he was shot and drunk in the bar.
If you ever played Cube Escape: Case 23, you might remember you had to put a code for Bob to appear on the tv. That code was also 247.
The Comic
Movie achievement.
Inside the game achievement sections, we get this hint:
The problem is, the furniture with books in game does not have that same order of books. But oh wait…
THE MOVIE ONE DOES!
It’s hard to see, but it’s clearly written “the vanderbooms” in there.
Go to the typewriter machine and type in an answer as “the vanderbooms”. You get an extra paper that turns into a demo comic about Rusty Lake Roots!

The Green Vial (Extra)
Can be earned only after getting all the movie achievements in the 1st chapter.
After you’ve done all the “main” achievements for Chapter 1, your in-game Achievement screen will be like this:
Input these on the box and you’ll get the Green Vial. Go to the mirror and give it to Dale.
PS: You DON’T HAVE TO DRINK it to get the achievement, as soon as you give it to
Dale, the achievement triggers. If you drink it though, you’ll get the bad ending of chapter 1 and the achievement “Dale’s Fate”.
It also unlocks a link to this hidden movie clip!
The Green Vial | Paradox – A Rusty Lake Film (Secret Ending)
Dale’s Fate (Extra)
Can be earned only after getting all the movie achievements in the 1st chapter.
Unlocks after you’ve done the Green Vial ending.
Wooden Cube (Extra)
Story achievement.
Probably the first one you’ll find.
Go right, go to the furniture right bellow the mirror, get the key on the red box, go right twice, check the dresser on the left, use the key to open the last drawer, get the cube, go back to the previous furniture and slam the cube in any of the slots.
Iron Cube (Extra)
Story achievement.
After you unlock the tall furniture, arrange the books on this order, as was hinted in the dresser with all the ID Cards. Then open the book and get the cube.
Escape The Mind (Extra)
Story achievement.
Unlocks right after you finish the Mind Game labyrinth.
Glass Cube (Extra)
Story achievement.
After you finish the whole book of “Case 23” in the furniture, you can make out an order of symbols based on the dress part.
Apply them to the symbol box, unlock it, and you’ll get a yellow tape named “Harvey’s Song”.
Play the tape to make Harvey fly out of his cage. Check the inside of the cage for the Glass Cube.
Put it on the dresser along with the other two to trigger the achievement.
The Red Vial (Extra)
Story achievement.
After you manage to put all the 3 cubes inside the dresser, the door will unlock. Get the Red vial in there and give it to Dale in the mirror.
Chapter 1 (Extra)
Story achievement.
After you manage to get the Red Vial, go to the mirror and drink it, getting the key to the door.
Escape through it and manage to find your way on the woods. Lots of things to do, actually, The walkthrough can help you with that. After all it’s done you get this achievement.
Chapter 2 Achievements
These require you to have the paid DLC of the game, which can be bought here:

A new tie
Movie achievement.
Bug: to get this achievement you have to use a tie either before cutting your head or after drinking the Blue vial and becoming a corrupted soul. (Fixed)
This achievement requires you to find 5 symbols in the movie to get the code to the locker:
Now open the locker to get the tie.
Come to the mirror and use the tie. Beautiful, right?
A bit fishy
Movie achievement.
Remember that movie hint about the clock on 8:05? If you use it here, you also get a key to unlock the same furniture door. This time you get a shrimp Cocktail from Rusty Lake: Hotel.
Give it to the hand that crawls from the red curtains. Click it again to earn the achievement.
Another ending
Movie achievement.
Game gives you this hint:
It’s asking you to spot these objects in the movie and count their ammount:
Turn that on the TV to get a wicked ending and the achievement.
A phone call
Movie achievement.
You have to do 2 calls. First – to the Rusty Lake hotel. You get the number from the clue – 77772.
Second – to the movie director. His name is Sean van Leijenhorst. You can find his number in the telephone directory. It’s 15334.
Call him to get the achievement.
The Great Northern Hotel
Movie achievement.
During the movie, Dale opens up a globe full of drinks, there’s a small keychain in there with the number 315 on it.
You can input that number on both Chapters TV, but it only triggers the achievement on Chapter 2 TV!
Dale’s Journey Continues (Extra)
Can be completed only after getting all the movie achievements in the 2nd chapter (even if you know the code – you can’t use it).
After fulfilling this requirement you can get the code in the in-game achievement list so you can open the locker. There you get a cube and a pair of eyes.
Use the eyes on the skull to open the secret elevator and enter it.
Movie Dale (Extra)
You can find Movie Dale in the forest at the end of Chapter 2 in this exact location:
Mind Of The Present (Extra)
Story achievement.
Call Vanderboom, watch yourself on TV, finish the globe puzzle and get a new pure mind.
A Cup Of Coffee (Extra)
Story achievement.
Give your psychologist a cup of coffee.
Mind Of The Past (Extra)
Story achievement.
Complete psychological tests to get the memories of your past.
Mind Of The Future (Extra)
Story achievement.
Recreate the tragical events of your birthday party.
The Blue Vial (Extra)
Story achievement.
Meet Mr. Owl and get cubes from him. Open the drawer and drink the Blue vial.
Chapter 2 (Extra)
Story achievement.
Enter the forest, follow the arrows, find the map and Mr. Crow, collect the figurines and go to the beach.
The right place (Secret)
The achievement icon itself shows a number. Put that in the TV at any time it is available.
In order to find the number you have to place cubes at the end of the 2nd chapter the same way Dale placed them in the movie (to the left – wooden, in the centre – glass, to the right – iron).
After this you can find the number using a magnifying glass.
It shows Albert from Rusty Lake Roots doing some voodoo as usual.
PS.: This can either be achieved on Chapter 1 or 2
Paradise (Secret)
Note: after you equip the Owl mask you lose a posibility to drink the Blue vial for this walktrough, therefore you can’t get the main ending and 2 achievements (The Blue vial and Chapter 2). But you still can get the Golden cube ending.
The first 4 symbols for the code you can see during the Owl mask ending of Rusty Lake Paradise. The last symbol is a circle with a point inside.
On chapter 2, put these symbols on the box to yield the owl mask, and then put on Dale at the mirror.
