Muv-Luv Alternative Endings Guide

This is a general guide for all Muv-Luv Alternative endings.

Muv-Luv Alternative has 5 endings and 19 Steam achievements to unlock. By following this guide you’ll able to see and unlock all of them. Be mindful that the list below contains spoilers and you’ll also unlock all CGs as you go. This game requires five playthroughs to get all the achievements, but thankfully, there is chapter select, so as long as you do the first playthrough correctly, you won’t have to restart the game from the very beginning. The recommended ending order is:

Kasumi > Chizuru > Kei > Miki > Mikoto

It is more optimal to do Kasumi’s ending first, since, in the next playthroughs you can use a chapter select shortcut (the other “routes” also require fewer choices).

Yashiro Kasumi Route

Sakaki Chizuru Route

After clearing playthrough 1, go to Chapter Select, and click the fourth option under chapter 7. Auto-skip and choose “Class Rep” 2 times. Then just pick whatever choices you like, and finish the game. Auto-skip again is probably a good route to go for this.

Ayamine Kei Route

After clearing playthrough 2, go to Chapter Select, and click the fourth option under chapter 7. Auto-skip and choose “Ayamine” 2 times. Then just pick whatever choices you like, and finish the game. Again, auto-skip is best, unless you want to play it again.

For the best experience of most visual novels, I recommend purchasing the app lossless scaling on steam or going to github and downloading an app called magpie to upscale the games art to your native resolution from it’s standard 720p resolution instead of playing in 720p on a 1080p window by default.

I also recommend installing the H patch for the game which can be found somewhere on the steam forums.
