Ace Combat 7 Skies Unknown Cheats & Tips and Tricks

#1 – How to Find All 24 Aces

To unlock the ‘’Bird of Prey’’ achievement in Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, you will have to find and destroy 24 Aces. These professional and dangerous pilots will appear only at certain levels and only if you perform hidden tasks. There’s another condition – the storyline mission must be completed at least once before you can deal with them.

As an additional reward, you will get various skins for customizing fighters. Besides the achievement, you will receive a secret skin X-02S Strike Wyvern when you destroy all Aces.

Ace 1: Huang Xuan Tai (PYRO)
Mission: Charge Assault

You must deal with the third wave of opponents using anti-aircraft weapons (for example, 4AAM, 6AAM, 8AAM). PYRO will appear in the upper left corner of the map.

Ace 2: Joe Barker (JESTER)
Mission: Charge The Enemy

Destroy radar vehicles and then eliminate the TGT-CTRL tower. You need to do this fast before drones appear. You will find JESTER on the airbase taxiway.

There is a narrow passage on the northeast platform. Move through this passage, and the enemy will appear on the left side of the map.

#2 – How to Detect Real Bunkers in Mission 13: Bunker Buster

Storyline missions in Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown are diverse, so while some missions can be completed without any tension, others will require speed, accurate shots and even wit. In this article, we will talk about ‘’Mission 13: Bunker Buster’’, in which you will not be allowed to use special weapons.

Instead, the game will force you to use an obscure aiming module that allows you to send bombs to small missile bunkers. Some of these bunkers will be fake and some real. The set of real and fake bunkers is always randomized. Also, you don’t have much time to complete this mission.

However, there’s a small trick that allows you to complete the task easily and quickly. If you destroy five bunkers in a timely manner, an Ace will appear on the map. The most important thing is that the location of real bunkers will be different each time you load the map.

Here’s a step-by-step instruction:

1. Despite the fact that real bunkers appear at random places when you are loading the level, they will remain at the same positions if you try again to complete the mission from the very beginning.

2. To speed up the walkthrough, shoot all sites and then mark bunkers’ location on a sheet of paper. Then, start the mission from the very beginning and go to your targets.

3. When aiming from the new weapon, follow the two circles. If you hold the sight so that the bunker is in the inner (red) circle, you will destroy it from the first shot. If the bunker is in the outer circle, it will launch a missile if you are attacking a real bunker.

4. In this case, fly higher and shoot at the open shaft of the bunker where you can see the missile. Having destroyed it, you will eliminate the bunker itself.

#3 – Location of All SAMs in Mission 10: Transfer Orders

In Mission 10: Transfer Orders, you will need to protect your commander who flies in the direction of the airfield. To allow him to safely reach his destination, you must find the location of 9 anti-aircraft guns that are not marked on the radar.

To find them, you will have to carefully study the map and navigate along the smoke trail. The task is complicated by the fact that the weather is cloudy, so it will be difficult to detect all targets. On the screenshot below, you will find the location of all the objects you need in Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown.

1. First, we recommend moving forward and shoot all SAMs that are located in the eastern part. Then, turn around and go west where you should do the same.

2. In total, you will need to find 9 SAMs. Once the enemy fighters appear, deal with them first and then proceed to anti-aircraft guns.

3. If you deal with SAMs quickly enough, a new Ace will appear on the battlefield.

#4 – How to Earn MRP

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown introduced Aircraft Tree to the Ace Combat series. Here, you can spend MRP which you have earned for completing storyline tasks or for participating in online battles. The Tree consists of several lines that are connected to each other, so, in order to unlock the later parts, you will have to first complete the previous ones.

Keep in mind that you will not be able to unlock everything that the Tree has to offer in one walkthrough of the storyline campaign, and the Tree offers new aircraft, weapons and equipment. Having unlocked a new fighter, you get one special weapon. The remaining two stay locked, and you will have to spend MRP to unlock them.

Important. You will get MRP not only for the first walkthrough of the mission but also for the replay. To get additional MRP, you will most likely have to switch to Free Play and find all 24 Aces which are carefully concealed in the game world. We will discuss this topic in detail in a separate guide. However, you will still have to learn how to farm MRP even if you find all of them.

There are two options for farming MRP:

  • Participate in numerous multiplayer modes.
  • Replay missions in Free Play mode.

The first option – Multiplayer
Online multiplayer mode is the fastest and best way to farm MRP. Even if you get the lowest ranking in the session, you still earn 70000 MRP as a reward. One game session lasts just a few minutes, so it’s a great solution to the problem, especially since you do not have to reach the top rank. Obviously, if you get to the top ranks, your reward will be increased.

The second option – Free Play

There are certain gamers that simply hate online modes, and of course, they will refuse to use them to farm in-game currency. For such characters, we propose a second method of earning MRP – a replay of storyline missions in Free Play mode.

We recommend paying attention to two missions which will provide you with a good reward – Farbanti and Fleet Destruction. The 19th mission is too long, but you will get plenty of MRP when you complete it. When exploring Aircraft Tree, we liked a branch that allows you to unlock F22 Raptor fighter. We advise getting it as soon as possible, as this plane is universal for all tasks, is equipped with powerful weapons and allows you to complete missions without hassle.
