To start this quest locate the Piece of Holy Symbol in the southwest area of Market Square.
There are 6 magic essences in the game.
- Blackwing Library (Need High Perception)
- Gwerm’s Mansion (Upstairs first room to the north)
- Estrod Tower (Basement)
- 3 in Gray Garrison
Talk to the storyteller right after Gray Garrison before he leaves the camp.
The storyteller will leave the camp in act 2 but you will be able to see him later in the game again.
