A Fisher of Men is one of the main missions available in the second chapter of Red Dead Redemption 2. Time to slow down with the action – Abigail has asked you to take her son to fish. This mission serves as a tutorial for the fishing system in Red Dead Redemption 2.
How to get a gold medal in A Fisher of Men?
- After arriving at the river, catch a fish within 1 minute and 30 seconds – Take out your fishing rod and immediately start fishing. The key here is to quickly reel the line.
- Complete the mission in less than 7 minutes and 20 seconds – Catch fish as fast as you can. Then, you have to ride with Jack to the camp.
Abigail who can be found in her tent initiates this quest. Speak to her, then talk to Jack and take him on your horse to the marked destination.
This story mission also serves as a tutorial for the fishing mini-game in Red Dead Redemption 2. Follow the on-screen instructions to fish. Jack will eventually get bored and leave you to fish once more.
Continue doing so until a cutscene triggers. After the cutscene, ride back to the camp to complete the mission.
