Note: The builds on this page are strictly focused on min maxing (i.e. getting the absolute most combat and mechanics value out of the character) and may break roleplaying immersion. Intentionally roleplaying-friendly builds may appear in the future.
I’d much prefer she was a martyr instead of the base class so I wouldn’t have to make a bard out of her. Owlcats have never been so close to making a great companion out of the box. Hunt Caller would also be an interesting option, if it wasn’t broken at the moment. Either way, we need a bard and she will have to be one since there’s none better. Remove armor before casting while you are still sporting heavy armor (for the Armour Class).
Skalds are bugged at the moment (you’ll notice upon saving or loading the base song is given out but ever Rage power attached is not, including Skald itself), so you may want to hold off using this build for now.
Pretty much a full Skald, complete with Lethal Accuracy and whatnot. Switch to Tower Shield once you get a proficiency from Fighter (she can eat the negatives). The damage — Mythic Charge aside — is not crazy, but then that’s not what she’s for. There really isn’t much fancy about it: just slap some Mithral Full Plate and a shield on her and you’re done.
